[Application] Shaftronics[Accepted]

Guess I'll give it a shot.

-Why do you want to be a moderator?

To lighten the load and help clean up the forums whenever possible. I have the time to check every day.

-Do you think you are good enough to moderate?

Sure. I've been on forums for years, and have yet to receive any major bans or infractions. I know what to look out for, and how to deal with them without being too harsh, yet being impartial.

-Do you know the rules? do you read them if you can't remember?

If I think something breaks the rules, I'll definitely go check before I take any action. That's just fair, and making a mistake doesn't make you look any better. Also, IF I made a mistake, nothing wrong with apologizing.

-What work have you do to contribute to the community? provide links if its artwork or a guide

Other than various input on builds, nothing much, really.

-Have you had any problems with the current staff? has these problems been solved?


None at all. Nothing personal, no grudges held.


-What rank are you in Cosmic Break, provide a screen shot as proof

- You flame at me for just about everything I do
- You're not active enough
- You're always against me for some reason
- A lot of your replies to my messages could start all out arguments

Isn't that a problem with your attempts at maturity, not Shaftronics?....

I have nothing against Lurkers. Some of my best friends are Lurkers. I mean, a Lurker once bit my sister, once, but we forgave him. It is true, though, that we don't get many opportunities to learn about the true nature of the Lurkers. If they socialized a little more, the community might get a chance to see what their shorts smelled like.



(I vote yes.. conditionally that Shaft make his presence known more often.)



(P.S. This forum seriously needs a "Thumbs Up" and "Thumbs Down" button on each post. Don't have a gay, "Karma" system where your posts are averaged; that's easily exploitable. I just think it would be nice to "Thumbs Up" posts.)

We had something like this once before but it didn't work out very well at all. Someone went around making a negative vote on a lot of posts for no reason making the the person look bad. We will not be putting it back.

We had a person called "Desu" who had an autoplay rickroll in his signature.

Everyone went around going thumbsdown on ALL his posts.

Lol Desu. Sometimes I miss his in-game spam.

Like what happened in our hacking forum (Reputation System removed and still gone like more than a year now).

Still haven't figured it out? That's because what you did deserved the flaming.

I'm not going to look at every nook and cranny on where Shaft flamed you and all, but if I look at what you've posted in threads recently, I'm leaning more towards the side where "Shaft had a good reason to argue against you". And you're not maturing as you said you were going to in your moderator application - far from it. And I'm pretty sure most people would agree with me.

What was the "vow" you were going to take that you typed up in your moderator thread?

I'm not hating on you or anything. But if you say you'll "change for the better, that you're confident in doing so, and that you won't disappoint us", then make the effort in doing so. If you say that you've attempted at the effort, BULLSHIT. There was no progress at all.

You sure you can't mimic the minecraft forums (and this one other forum I go on) and have it only be thumbs-up with no thumbs-down, and have a limit on how many thumbs-ups you can give per day?

Then again when I moderated something it happened to be a forum full of homophobic 12-year-old sociopath racists who think the word "butt" is funny regardless of how you use it. I kinda snapped under the pressure they put me under.

Actually, there is a way to do that. I could activate just the "Thanks" button and make it worth +1. I am also able to limit the amount of how many times you can do it a day.
