Suggest some games to LXE

My new laptop I have ordered is arriving soon. It has a 2.4GHz Core i5 CPU, a Ati Radeon graphics card, 4GH 1333MHz RAM.

I'm planning on buying Starcraft II and start Terran up the battlefield with my Thor, and Cruise through the battle (I'm the Battlecruiser).

So what else would you suggest? I want good mainstream games since I haven't been able to play those with this old one I have.

Welp, I know of a few,

Crysis 2, VERY CPU intensive, but very worthwhile,

Dungeon seige 3, a bit steep on the price yes, but very fun for the RPG nerd inside

And finally

Gmod, an endless possibility sandbox game, compatible with portal, Half life 2, and TF2, very worth while, and cheap on steam for only under $9

When I say I want to know about mainstream games, don't go putting in stuff that isn't even mainstream.

Only mainstream I'd recommend. I have way more recommendations but they're mostly indie or obscure games with small cult followings. I guess that isn't your thing, so..

And, yeah-

*Loads of class possibilities/builds (like your support/attack mage Shielded/2-hand-sword-warrior, Dual-bladed/archer-type rogue)
*Intense game-play involving strategy

It's an RPG game though(youtube for videos)
it's mainstream.(right?)

I haven't tried Dragon Age II, like I said, I can't play mainstream games on my old laptop.

try tf2 its free to play game now (big player count now)

true. The game has a few bugs here and there. Aside from the fact you have an annoying inventory space with annoying zombies chasing you every second.
Some of you might tell me annoying zombies are part of the game but then we have those 1 hit KO types >_>

If u gonna play SCII, wait for Heart of the Swarm expansion, it's coming soon. I may also quit CB to play it(welp, still a long time to go).

if your so into mechs you may look at the battletech universe games

like, you know, mechwarrior 2 to 4 mercenaries (mech piloting "simulations") and mech commander 1 & 2 (these are strategy games)

but i guess battletech is not really that mainstream (i heard the books are good, but since i would start at volume 1 i cannot afford them all anyways :p)

Ultra can charge while burrow, baneling can move while burrow

Tbh i think P gonna get lots of buff in this expansion(that oracle!!!)
