First 5 seasons were the best. Period.
The seasons after that were okay, but it felt off. Maybe it was because some parts were written by Gavino. Anyway, the series looks really flashy now than what it looked like before, seeing how Monty's doing all the animations.
In conclusion, cockbite.

Well, the CG did bring more life into the series. They're not restricted to what they can do in-game, and now they can bring in CQC, which we all love. And Monty's got experience with this stuff, since he's created Haloid and Dead Fantasy.
And iirc, you're talking about the episode when Caboose reveals the shocking truth that he hates babies.

I liked the series when it first came out. It had a rough and spontaneous sense of humor akin to early Monty Python. I actually own the first three seasons on DVD, (I'm a pirate with a conscience; if I really like the work, I'll buy it.) I watched the next three seasons on their website and slowly started to lose interest. I haven't seen anything past season six. Rooster Teeth just seemed to lose their passion and originality the longer they worked on RVB. I've considered catching back up, but I've been engaged in other activities.

I bet. The first five seasons were what embodied the series - you had funny jokes, balance between the Blues and the Reds, and the fact that it looked like the show was being made in someone's house gave it that feel. Now that the plot's going everywhere and the animation looks way flashy, it really seems different from what it once was.
