i will give a good example of an anime that is for adults and is sophisticated

i only watch anime for mature people such as myself

no narutu, white back grounds aka bleach and wann piss in this thread

Well my basic rule of thumb is to avoid series that have long drawn out plots that don't go anywhere.
That said how about.

• Kure-nai

but yeah i know all of them and i didnt really any of them

and i cant really see durara as a serious anime

Well I guess it isn't really much of one.
It's actually rather tame compared to Baccano.

but out of all this years i have been watching anime...i dont remember watching almost anything except for hentais or comedy to shounen

and i have been watching anime since 1993

i was young and i didnt even know everything i was watching was called anime

all i know they were made by the japanese and i liked them

Canaan is good

it somewhat explore a natural defect of humans and turn it into something like a super power

If your going for Bakemonogatari's winding talks, why not sample Umineko naku koro ni? although the answers are flat out given, thinking of a human method of how the murders are carried out is surely mindfucking.

Meh i rarely watch anime because of pet peeves such as gasping unnecessarily

my favorite animes have to be fate/stay nite and busou renkin

I tend to stick to anything by Yoshitoshi aBe. This would include:

Serial Experiments Lain
Haibane Renmei
Texhnolyze
NieA Under 7

also I'm usually on the lookout for stuff in the same vein, so I go with:

Now and Then Here and There
Boogypop Phantom
Kino's Journey
Last Exile

Also, anything by Ootomo Katsuhiro:
Steamboy
Akira
Perfect Blue
Spriggan


and a whole lot of stuff by Hayao Miyazaki:
Mononoke Hime
Spirited Away
Howl's Moving Castle
Lupin the 3rd

If you don't watch at least some Miyazaki films, you're just damn uncultured in my opinion.

EDIT: Yeah, I realize there's no anime in there newer than 2005. Get of mah lawn, ya punks.

Claymore seemed to me a more serious drama one... how You would not look at it... it was sad story(anime, manga still sad).
