Bullet speed test Empty
PostSubject: Bullet speed test   Bullet speed test EmptyWed Jul 27, 2011 6:56 am

Video click me
Part 1:
Regina's drawgun, one tuned with double high shooter and 1 great rapid. 2nd one just double high shooter. 567 vs 504 speed.
End result, basically no difference.

Part 2:
Rifle vs Musket. 400 vs 360 speed.
Still barely noticable.

Conclusion:
Unless you are doing MULTIPLE rapid tunes (or shooter), don't bother with it. A single tune even if it's a great rapid with a buff of 60+ speed doesn't helps you much. You are better off tunning other stats of weapon. 2 frame difference (from that video) is less then 0.1~0.2 seconds. Nothing is going to affect anything greatly in this amount of time.

Though that said, different weapons has different initial firing speed though. Stuff like nova missile will be always slower then their initial stated speed when compare to rifle etc. So if you wanna compare or experiment it yourself, remember to use weapons that belonging to SAME CATOGARY and ON THE SAME ARM.

Note *To anyone whom posting replys on your opinion, make sure you watch the vid before you post.

Speed matters more depending on several factors such as :projectile size, intended targets, and distance to target. Those small differences add up in actual combat, were often, both you and the target are moving around. That barely noticeable change can mean the difference between missing and hitting something like a seraph. It would also seem that speed tunes matter more on slower weapons than faster ones. At higher base speed, rates of change is less significant as perceptually, it's still quite fast, however over long distances that speed proves it's worth.

JP citizen will just copy whatever you type here and swap the youtube/nico video words and sent it directly back in your face :/ Anyway please keep on topic .-. I wish someone will give constructive opinions on this not your own bias opinion on nico video. And frankly speaking, youtube video sucks. Especially quality wise. Even on HD.

Even with only one great rapid beta on a custom mag, I can feel a huge difference in my hit rate compared to an untuned one.
