But, I'm more of a fan of vocaloid "covers". Choucho in particular:
Hrmm, but hey, I guess you might enjoy these:
You might enjoy this one too, but for some reason it's a bit creepy for me to watch: "Uncanny Valley" perhaps? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUMXEH975uU
Although I guess I was listening to this as the thread popped up... so yeah... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcHlwOOKKTU

Not really one of my favorites. However Choucho does show some technical excellence in her vocal range on that one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCVoW5t8yDo
Although if you're going for slow tempo, I'd probably prefer something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZUnuCTjSA4

It almost seems ironic how Hatsune Miku is the most popular one, when her voice is almost the most robotic of all the Vocaloids. I guess that's part of the charm, that she doesn't seem to try as hard at faking a human voice, and instead works better as a voice instrument... Somehow, that seems kind of more submissive than the others, who sound more adult and nuanced.
Personally, my favorite is Kagamine Rin and her brother Len. They sound tons more realistic than Miku, but still have that hint of clipping that still reminds you they're robots. Luka seems to go a little too far, and something just sounds slightly creepy about her, though she does sound like the most grown up of the main Vocaloids.
I'm really interested to see songs come out with the new "Lily" vocaloid that they're about to release.
Compare to:
Okay, so Rin isn't quite "human sounding", but she's closer than Miku. I king of get the impression that Miku flaunts her robotic nature more...
I dunno, it's silly giving personalities to these voices really.

That's why they came out with that "Miku Append" thing.
