| SO... I had just gotten Aquila because he looks cool and I planned to give him medium parts so he'd be a small-ish blaster of pownage. I finally came up with this bot: Aquila Clockwork. The Izuna LGs are tuned for +1 str/tec (Cuz I was a stupid noob at the time ) I just want thoughts on how to Improve him and stuff. 【Robot Name】 Aquila 【Parts】 BD: Aquila BD WB: Beam Bit(default) LG: Izuna Kamui LG2 HD: Destructor HD HDAC: - FCAC: - BS: Mecha Jetter BS AM: Accel Saber AM WP: - AM: Accel Saber AM WP: - 【Config Check】 COST: OK BS: OK LG: OK 【Stats】 TYPE: 空 SIZE: L COST: 755 CAPA: 880 HP: 380 STR: 11 TEC: 23 WLK: 11 FLY: 25 TGH: 8 LEVEL: 0 | |

| - Swap LG to Paraboroid LG or Mach Knight LG
- Swap BS to Thoarla/Big Mountaiz BS
Don't know what you have for weaponry. Stardust + Viper would work well, but there are plenty of other options too. If you go that route, Stardust for typical combat, internal blaster for up close or fatties.

No. Take them off. Give him Crimrose/Seraph LG, if you need slots, get the Rt Crim. The sooner you stop using Izuna LG2, the sooner you become good at playing Air. Guaranteed. Greinaut/Alba/Thoarla LGs are the other options. BS: Tengu BS, Kotengu BS, Vulture BS, Adone BS, Volcanic BS. It helps to have one of the two tengu BSs for max altitude, if you get Thoarla LG, you can put another BS on it. Vulture BS is the only non-gara option, but it's still pretty good. AM: Accel Saber AM is perfect, I'd personally go with Air Raider AM but that's gara-only. HD: Mach Knight HD2, Cross Raptor HD, Vanguard HD, pick your poison. Super Gara tends to shit out tons of 3s Mach Knight HD2 and they are probably the best option anyways. AC: EVE Ornament and Ace of Heart Earrings are the obvious choices of course, but if you don't have those, any FLY/TEC ACs are fine. WP: Stardust Cannon, Thoarla AM3 (which is an AM of course, but let's just treat it as a weapon), those are the only good L-air weapon options there are. If you don't have either of them, you can consider Ballista Shooter from the Super Gara, but ultimately, you want to have one of the first two options, Thoarla AM3 is currently available in the weekly gara whilst SDC is available from boss runs. And put a Viper Shield in the other hand. Cart wise, I'd personally not recommend internal upgrade, the core weapon is okay but not really something worth focusing on, it should be used to farm trees mostly. Quick Boost, Quick Land(oh woops, he doesnt have it) and Broad Radar should be compulsory, Float Dash is nice to have. Propeller Bit is what you want to be using, unless you want to drop your STR to 0 in favour of TEC and FLY, which wouldn't actually be a bad idea, keep STR above 0 solely for Propeller Bit is fine too, purely up to your own taste. Sniper Bit is fine too of course. EDIT: Suguri's suggestions are fine too of course. Though as for the BS, his suggestions are more ideal if you are interested in bumping up your TGH, which is fine unless you are going to be short in capacity.

And I do highly recommend at least 10 tgh. Even though you can make him pretty tiny, you'll still definitely feel the effects of sub-10 tgh.

| Besides the other part recommendations (by the way if you wanna know why they're being recommended, it's for their size, and efficiency vs cost. Also to get you off your wisp crutch.)
SDC+viper will do very well to cover his rather large core. If you do have it (I doubt you do though), blitz blaster may be another nice option. Not so much on other things. You can also use negatron rifle if you'd like..but I feel SDC beats that outta the water. Altair blaster I recall was also very nice, although IIRC it's not piercing... It's in the shop for RT, hopefully not too much. I recall hearing some nice things about it.
In terms of carts, since you're going to most likely be a mid-far range bot, I suggest quick boost, maybe quick jump (for that extra altitude so you can choose your targets without wasting too much boost), stun regain (if he has it), and probably float dash/quick land. Pretty standard.
If you want to use his enhance internals (for that BD blaster, IIRC it wasn't that bad, and they do pierce) then things get trickier because now you're playing in the close-mid range combat. You probably have to tune very hard to be able to use it effectively with your own weapon (they're definitely not as OP as Ah-chan's or even in the same league really -_-) but if you want to..well... Standard AIR build here, just have to decide between the above mentioned carts, and whether or not you can fit in an extra air loop/accel roll there...

| I wouldn't bother with Altair Blaster on him, it's just a weaker version of his internal as an L-size handheld weapon.
I've got Blitz Blaster on mine, but...my build's not exactly conventional. I only know of two other people using a build like it; one's a clanmate, the other was some DOS player who apparently copied mine and shot me with it in arena today.

| Take a stardust cannon, or look into abr/ possibly balista shooter.
Wisp are a situational weapon. Wisp spamming is bad, but a well timed wisp blast can sink a lot of damage into a target. Most people just mindlessly fly around with them on seraphs or something blasting away without a care, don't do that. I wouldn't take them on Aquila due to the high cost really, it's just not worth it.
The core blaster is gold against any sizable target or anything close, and can tear down a baltheon shield rather quickly. If nothing else it lets you quickly farm trees for your main gun.
I'm kinda surprised I don't see more aquilas in matches. It's a fairly good bot, and the blaster is pretty powerful.
If you can fit it into your build, take broad radar. Knowing were everything is helps a lot as a large air.

| Sonic Blade honestly is a melee weapon that belongs on virtually nothing... and if it does, it would be a S-sized bot before a L-sized bot. There is just about never a time when a L-AIR should be swinging a anything at anything.
Also with Aquila there's really no reason to not take him to level 10. o_o I know the idea of him costing a lot is unappealing, but there's not a huge difference between your planned for 935 capa cost and 1240 planned capa cost (that's how much it would be with all carts) but the difference in health, mobility and everything else you can get by tunes would be huge. If you do want to play a cheap air that can be efficient, take up something like a Sword Wing or Beezel, because Aquila will never be at his best at level 6. 26 fly is just not enough to effectively survive nowadays, even if you are playing a Sword Wing while I'm using that example. It works, but the first person to come at you with speed tuned missiles will be a bad day for you. Most Airs strive to get 36~38 fly.
Also there's really no reason to get Sword Guard... the only time you should be getting meleed is when you make an inconvenient landing, and that shouldn't be happening in the first place really. I can see you getting into melee conflicts using the Sonic Blade, but you never want to put yourself in a position were you're trying to beat someone at their own game; like poking a Vanguard, just don't do it. Thus the Sword Guard cart would be quite a waste...
Also, Destructor HD isn't bad, but seriously consider looking into Mach Knight HD2. You can even get 3s versions in UC garapon like it was stated a bunch of times.
