| I'm extremely confused about their handling of beta, because I have two beta keys but nowhere to use them, I don't know if they work for that reason either. Going to have to wait until I see a closed beta thing. When I confirm that at least one of my keys work, I'll give out the other. Looking forward to the game though. Angela has a scythe <3 | |

On a scale of Cyberstep to Nexon, shittiest to becoming half decent, they are 65% on the way to Nexon.

You have not followed them lately then. They are probably among the best free MMO publishers out there now.

can't believe that they actually cut lolmaple's grinding rate to half. Removed fatigue system from DFO. Applied multiple updates to DFO (though questionable, they're still lacking a few things). Removed token system from Vindictus. Released content extremely early for Vindictus. From what I've seen, NONE of their games are severely cash-biased considering a majority of it is either quicker items to make life easier (automatic +10 weapons in Vindictus) or pure cosmetics and slight advantage. Except maybe Combat Arms, but that's a free-to-play shooter, that's never good. I digress however. Although people do seem to dislike Perfect World International, I find them one of the better publishing companies. They're definitely better than Cyberstep, GPotato, ijji, and GameKiss by far. I think people's only complaint about Perfect World International has to be the lack of player-to-company communication and from what I hear, they have heavy cash shop. However, I don't find that Rusty Hearts can be a cash shop heavy game simply because of its playstyle, but we will have to see.

What a truly unforgiving world you live in. Even I have to give credit for what people do when they're had lines after lines of wrongs. Edit: What's up guys, I got news for you. Found out how to redeem beta keys and my first one worked, so I have one possible spare. If you need one, first one to ask I'll PM to them.

| I liked what I saw of it so far. I'm playing Frantz, the nihilistic half vampire. Unfortunately, the first day of beta resulted in a server crash for about 2 hours.... so I didn't get a lot of time to play.
There are a lot of Angelas right now. O_o

| This game is pretty impressive. Adore the graphics, story is great (god the humor is amazing), and OHMYGOD I LOVE THE MUSIC SO MUCH. OST ****ING WHERE.
The thing that bothers me is Angela attacks soooo ****ing slow. She's the magician of the group yeah yeah, but fff****, what is with that attack speed. And reading the description on Perfect World says scythes are even slower? Fff****, how slow is that going to be?
No closed beta event other than log in once for the headphone giveaway, so I stopped for now, since they'll wipe anyways. Looking forward to open beta.
Also, skill build/calculator where.

| I find Angela's attack speed to be perfectly fine considering how hard she hits. Do note that chaining moves into roll/skills makes her fighting style much more fluid. If you perform a single strike, roll immediately afterwards to get rid of that nasty post-delay. Other than that, there's the obvious normal attack -> skill chain.
Abuse Fire Wall. It's fast and hard-hitting with a short cooldown. The wind attack has excellent forward reach, while the earth attack does A LOT of damage. The magic balls are mostly useful for keeping combos and kiting larger enemies. Fireball is very useful against tougher enemies due to its range and higher damage. Angela is boss at killing bosses. Spam magic until boss uses slow attack, dash in, Fire Wall -> Wind -> Earth -> Fire Wall, dash out, repeat. Every boss fight so far has been a breeze.
Scythes aren't that slow, really. Doesn't feel any slower than Magic Sword. Skills work differently depending on your weapon. For example, Magic Sword shoots two homing magic balls in succession, while Scythe steps back and shoots three magic balls in a fan shape. Fire Wall seems slightly slower with Scythe (though the animation is so much more beastly), but the starting magic attack feels faster. Tip: You can switch weapons in the middle of a dungeon. I personally don't find the differences between skills to be significant enough to warrant switching, but maybe that'll change once I've actually used scythe for more than one dungeon run. xD; EDIT: Scythe Fire Ball seems to be AoE. Fire Wall becomes multi-hit? Guess there's more to it than I initially believed.
Skill build/calculator? I can't even find a skill list. or what the job advancement at 20 is. or any real information on this game at all. It's so sad. >.<;
