Barbarian Claw Empty
PostSubject: Barbarian Claw   Barbarian Claw EmptyMon Jun 27, 2011 10:25 pm

How are you guys using it so far? o.O

I put it on zero saber and works out pretty nicely with zero step for a pseudo melee hopper since my zero saber lacks the hopping carts atm...xD

but does anyone have any other recommedations for it? Does anyone have multiple claws? If so can they combo together?

Oh and the weapon is from this week's weekly garapon

shame you can't change the color on the claw though.

Intervals are too long
People can easily escape after the first 2 slashes

So it WAS this weapon...

I had some dood try wailing those on me for a while yesterday and figured out an easy way to pwn the dood whiffing me at that. xz is right; the intervals are way too long. It's too easy to shot an EVE cannon in your face when you land. Your "hop" won't do you good if you're gonna sit down for a bit right after you use it.

The first 3 slashes are decently fast as I used to remember, the last one is a jump and slash down which can hit people boostering away.

Apparently similar to Byakkou's claws, not sure how good those are.

Barbarian Claw Empty

well I do have the claw paired up with up with an ace braver arm so it slightly offsets the sitting delay from the jumping slash with a forward thrust from the ace braver arm, which is not much movement but better than just sitting there after using the jump slash

but yea I know it has it's quirks but it's quite fun to use for me nonetheless....xD and it does hold up relatively well against slow and big opponents...it's the smaller and agile ones that are a problem for me since I can't control the direction of the attacks too well -.-' but I figure I can at least hit them a few times and annoy them before I get killed off..lol wish I had another set of the weapon so I could use it on another zero saber actually...xD
