Hyper Spinner?

What is this, and is it worth my time to put on a melee bot?

What's that other one too, Old Cutter iirc.

Seems neat sounding. What's the description on them?

melee weapons seems to be completely overshadowed by melee ams and garapon bots.

It has decent range, and iirc it pierces. Pretty sure it's tec based though.

I think I might get one for medi aide or a chibi or something.

the yoyo kick very good ass with byne girls using them and they combos too with the byne girl arm. It gives a very good reason for byne girls to keep their armors
When you attack with it, you basically swing the yoyo like vandguard sword without the power buff.

It's a lot like Tesladonna AM's subweapon, except there's only one of them.

Looks like if you time it right you get horizonal slices with the Hyper Spinner instead of a strait hit.


EDIT: Tested it and it's STR based. Also has a chance to hit twice. It's fun anyways.

Your character doesnt move very far, and it feels like theres a large lag between hits and afterwards, leaving you wide fucking open.

Also its not timing, you have to be running beforehand to get the horizontal hits. The straight ones are horrible.

After more playtesting in battles, its decent. Its more LOL worhty than anything, but the range is pretty nifty, smacking other stupid ass melees in the face with my recreational toy.

Sorry, but Mai-chan's pilebunkers are way better.

Been using it and..I like it alot.

Its moving attack is way better then The stand still attack.

Its real fun to use.

Got sword master with it once or twice. Lol

out of a Squealer or a Byne, which one should I give a potentional Spinner to?

Definitely don't give it to an air bot.
Yoyos are no good on air cause of their lag time when you wait for it to come back.
You kinda just float there after spamming and shooting it out 2x...

The attack speed is halved compared to vanguards. The attack is too slow, and your character has too much lag afterwards. The range is great though. Good for those who want the melee range, but don't have the resources/luck to get vanguards themselves. Its totally worth 2 dollars.

I have fun with this thing on my Christmas-themed ZSG. She's only level 5 and only 19 STR, but it's still fun to use despite how easily I'm killed with it on me

I remember back in beta there was a yoyo that looked almost just like the hyper spinner that I had on my ghost raider.

It wasn't very good... Fun to use tho.

Suddenly bought it with my 20RT left, and it great, really high stun rate. Used it with zsg, and stun locked to death some VFs and VAs. And even took down a seraph with 0-step.
