May be a dumb question, but can you change the hair color of a mech? Or do you have to just look for a new one?

Each has a fixed hair color, so you'd need to get another type.

I think the reason they do not let players customize hair is because of the alpha channels. It would be a pain to probably get their in game skin editor to support alpha channels.
