Ive did multiple tests and new vangaurd rapes old vangaurd I have videos.

Head to head melee its int is lower so it will hit first

lv 2 vangaurd vs lvl 2 halbread vangaurd halbread wins 3x rtimes in a row

lvl ten tuned vanguard vs halbread lvl 2 lvl ten barely wins

Byne with shield and k sowrd and hound dog am still rapes him like freee kills tho =)

Oh hey a manguard that actually has a forward charge instead of being food for anything holding down both mouse buttons.

He's still food to anything with more wlk speed then him. He's just a bit harder to kill now in a 1v1, as his combo starts faster and has more reach. The last attack looks like it has a huge splash, but that could be special effects :<

I got one of these and it's pretty funny to chase people with the melee.

Of course it's just like any melee specialist, good unless you get kited around.

It's called short boost, or float dash, and in some cases...flying lol.

It has a Wider and Vertical Range, and Axes are generally better because of its Raw Power.

Actually axe is 40 force while sword is 42 force, though axe makes him shoot forwards and up, catching stuff kiting and flying over him.

yep

Better at some things, the jump for the combo is annoying. I still prefer the regular vanguard. The wide horizontal arc tends to hit more people than this new fencer. New fencer is great vs. air and 1v1, but it won't take out healing mobs like a regular vanguard.

I think i might just be too used to my fencer, but I dont like how the axer doesnt move forward as much as the vanguard, throughout the whole combo. This is just me though.

It's 20 tgh.

Narrow horizontal range.

Definately 1v1 material.

that is the best! the no overdrive mode combo is better that VF... VA "overdrive" mode combo is dif... it also jumps... so u can run straig start ur combo... other mele will try to hit u when u just perform the jump and he will get the axe in his head!!!

more OP... naaa..I fell like normal Vanguar... but he has diferent combo and when u master it! it will be great! (at this moment I suck with him casue Im playing a little dummy run and spam, run and spam.. and the VA still not tuned xD!)

I believe on this bot tuning force on the axe will be good cause I will use it a lot without the "overdrive" the normal attack is just great!!!

So yeah, I get axed out of the air when I fly at heights safe from fencer. That kinda sucks for me....

Also,both vanguards are specialised in their on sectors.

VA = Range + Height

VF = DPS + Slash Radius
