| Because some of you are being idiots and think he should be junked.
One thing for sure, Nomad isn't VF, Eve, Ouka, TBG, or Aquila Girl.
Knife and bomb? Short range you say?
Don't make me laugh.
That thing has better chase than Red Squealer arms. If AIRs fly low, just jump and let the chase begin. I've caught countless airs like this.
The knife has a hefty 30 force, which is quite nice for a 5 hit or so combo. The combo is relatively quick, and goes quite an acceptable distance.
For god's sake, the thing could even hit SMALL TARGETS. And even occasionally hoppers!
Eh? I forgot the rifle you say? You think it's shitty? ... .. .
-crows fly out of a tree-
.. Ah, that feels much better.
It's an armor breaker-esque rifle, with 22 force. Speed tune that thing, and it'd rival a railgun. It has both blast and shell type. I think the ratio of shell:blast is 80:20 .
I even found myself shooting SERAPHS. Best used for long-range harassing, when the enemy is pushed back after a combo, and someone fly/running away.
Oh! I forgot the cloak! Dear me..
When you use it, it gives you either an all-over shield and/or an insane amount of TGH. So use it when you're trying to run away. Or run into a crowd with the cloak activated to build up TGH resistance. Don't try to use it in a melee fight though. Knife is for that.
Woops. And tuning! Can't forget then.
[Priority 1]Tune for WLK. Obviously you know what this does. [Priority 2]Tune for TGH. Make it reach 40, even though his base TGH is already plenty. [Priority 3]Tune for strength. Knife's base force is enough even without tuning.
Weapon tuning: I went for pure speed, sacrificing ammo for the rifle. I think great force tune would work too. Slow tuning the knife would work too.
... oh, and wonder bits.
I prefer rifle bits. I get to knife WHILE I shoot. Or shoot while I shoot! Triple breakers are the bomb. Dual Spikes for those who like to bump people. Or just don't like anyone touching them. Dual Slayer for wtfslash.
Optional parts!
K-sword. Start off with the knife combo first. You'd be spinning and finishing it off with a SPIN. K-shield. Duh. Viper shield. Derp.
Anything else that could combo well with knife, or compliment his rifle. But the rifle's good enough on its own.

| Scaregant Nomad is severely underrated and he's now one of my favorite bots. His knife has ridiculous speed and moves into enemies like a monster, and the bombs do exactly what the description says they do. (Lol for once) I find myself wacking AIRs out of the sky now and again with it because it works so well in midair.
The Sniper Rifle has amazing range, power and the explosion makes it a good anti-AIR stick. I tuned mine for a little bit of range and a lot of speed. The coat is ridiculiously underrated as well, and it's quite often the best way to get out of a bad situation. Aquila Girl annoying you? Throw the cape over you and find a cave or teammates and reevaluate the situation.
Like Glass said, Dual Rifle bits do marvels with him. In any 1v1 air situation, I find that plus the Sniper Rifle eats air alive, while the Slayer doesn't really complement the knife and bombs. Dual Spikes are interesting and I ran them for a little, I prefer them over slayers, but the Rifle Bits easily did it for me.

i dunno lol He's not stupid broke, and a late bloomer (kinda) EN players don't wanna put effort into kicking ass while looking cool I guess. EVE was too hard and required that you manually dodged and maintained lockons, and effectively juggled main and subweapons. Thankfully, Toybox Girl and Aquila Girl fixed this problem.
