Grappler vs str which one gives more damage per cost on the fencer sword?

170 dmg per hit.

x3 great grappler on the sword, str tunes on arms. Then tune 33 wlk and pour the rest in tec.

Isn't x3 Great Grappler a bit over kill?

I remember reading somewhere that you'd be better using the 3rd slot for something else.

Status effects are pointless, because the point of Vanguard is to spike something hard and fast, and kill it before it can do anything.

A clanmate said he tested high glad and found that the buff overrides it, so it's only relevant when unbuffed.

Only other option is a third grappler.

hmmm i never know before that VF can up TGH to 30 when STR is 40 if player spam slot protector

Doing 170 to arts from the front is not Overkill.
