Few questions on how to tune chibis Empty
PostSubject: Few questions on how to tune chibis   Few questions on how to tune chibis EmptySun May 15, 2011 8:36 am

I got a Lily-chan, a Ouka Kamuro and a Swim Suit Koko Gaap. What cartridges should I get and what kind of tuning should I do?

As a SUP-bot the highest priority is balancing TEC/STR for maximum WB time, but does it matter how much STR/TEC I have in total? I.e.: if I tune my Lily-chan for 5 TEC and 5 STR will the WB last just as long as if I'd tune her for 10 STR and 10 TEC?

In addition: should I go for WLK or for FLY? Chibis have SUP-type booster time, so it won't last that long, but then again they take ages to reach maximum height and m/b it was prudent to have them tuned for FLY instead of WLK?

Thanks in advance o-o

For repair bit, every +1str+1tec increases duration by 0.5 secs and vice versa (that's after some tests from between 4tec/4str up to 18tec/18str, some said that the increase stops being linear after a certain threshold but I'm unable to confirm that), so it's not a huge increase. It also improves HP of the bit but that hardly matters unless you are being hardcore and trying to play a frontline combat healer/HSer.

Fly works fine, it's permanent high movement speed from walk versus short burst of higher movement speed from fly, as a support, you'll probably find that the latter works out better for you, and it helps you avoid some melee.

As a healer, you don't really need extremely high mobility. Depends on what base stats you got, try aim for a break point with WLK or FLY, 22 is a pretty ideal movement stats to sit on, if you can reach it, all well and good. Though what you should do is prioritize cartridges over stats, leave the tuning secondary. As long as you have 10 str 10 tec, you are set for life in terms of stats, better movement speed is very much a luxury.

Mmh...so I guess I'll really go for FLY and keep STR/Tec like 10 or such. I just hope I'll have enough capa left to equip glass burners and the ever so handy full set of dmg reduction carts v,v

I wish they was a way to equip a second AM with the chibis :/

On a float dash chibi, I'd say it's fine to tune up your fly. Float Dash Crim-chan giving herself hyper shot with a cross shooter can actually hold her own in combat quite well.
