I need some help

There's really no good handheld melee weapon for AIRs. The good ones are built into other parts. If you're getting killed by an Amateus that's not under the influence of Hyper Shot, make some distance and shoot at it. If it hops, ignore it, kill the rest of the stuff, tell your local suicide-Fencer about the hopping ART that's all lonely now that you made swiss cheese of the group. This is assuming you're using a rifle-range weapon. If you're using D/BMGs, Plasma Guns, or other close-mid range weapons, just fly away and wait for an opening. You shouldn't be aiming to engage an Amateus unless it's near-dead anyways. It's on the list of "shit to avoid for AIR units". TBG, DG, Destructor (at a range, less so when you're overhead and it can't get a Sub Weapon lock), Maxis I, Amateus, Albatreos, agressive Lily Rain, anything that moves faster than you while flying...

In ART heavy rooms on small/straightforwards maps, you shouldn't have attacking on the top of your mind. Focus instead on killing and protecting. Fly around your ART lines tearing up LND units that come in. I'd rather encounter a VF on my Lazflamme's gun raids than an AIR unit with a good gun on ANY map. Use your mobility to survey the area; You can take much shorter paths than other bots, so use that extra time checking for raiders and oddly placed heal pits. You should never attack an established ART line unless you know they'll all be neutralized in some fashion before they can respond (not responding at all is best, don't let them even know who just shot that Sturbanger in the ass for half its HP). Only advance when you can go as an ESCORT.

There's no point in risking your neck on an AIR unit. You're not a sturdy bot. As an AIR, you sacrificed your armor for wings. Make the most of them! You can easily survive a whole game if you put your mind to it. You move fast, ignore terrain, mess with cameras, and have a ton of annoying weapons. There's no reason for the average AIR to even be on the same launching level as the enemies. Pick your targets, you can afford to with that huge boost guage.

Railgun shots have large int and are predictable if you count the time between shots.

Sway has invincibility frames.

Replace Sway with Air Loop if playing air.

That strategy stops working if the EVE uses psyguns, but I've only seen two EVEs in EN smart enough to do that. Or maybe it was the same EVE twice, I don't pay attention to names often.

well dos only has 2-4 good eve users brd has puddin and wiz has the most again none of those will work on em the good eve users eve ina good users hands fullu tuned is the most op bot in this game only reason u dont sea shit ton of eves is cause she so easy to win with ppl get bored with her thats it even koi raged about eves when alot of ppl used her

Also just avoid ameteus some are built differently for instance I have 3 diff ameteus builds my fav is my long range one no air weapon can out range a tune gathima am for speed and range and tune toybox missles for speed an range =)

I always thought with quick jump, hitting max altitude at 0 wlk is the same as max height with no quick jump and 1 or more wlk.

Here's some protips:


#1 Hovering : Let go of your spacebar and let the shell fly right over your head (or infront of you if it's a Saggitary)
it's shot interval is extremely predictable so there shouldn't be too much of a problem

#2 Flipping : Airoll lol.

#3 Predicting : When returning to base,you can occasionally change directions abit,dodging bazooka's and missles

#4 Detonating : shoot the missle before it hits you,can't be done with beam weapons.

Flipping is RT only, and not permanent, so I wouldn't rely on this tactic.

I would fly in a swaying pattern(sway back and forth while retreating) that changes every so often(switch sway direction, etc.) to screw with your enemy's fire. Works better with more WLK/FLY, 30 is pretty good for this.

Detonation works much better with larger projectiles. Trying to detonate a missile with a Mini Bazooka is difficult due to the small size of the projectile. Using a Large or Handy Bazooka makes detonation much easier(the bazooka projectile is much larger, more surface area to catch incoming missiles).

Try putting a handy/large bazooka on an air.

Well I've trained myself to detonates missles like Destructor Girls AA missles with Rifles,so using a baz to deto is rather easy.

But it's not all that viable since not all projectiles can be detonated (bazooka/certain types of missles anyone?)

or your accuracy can go off etc etc

Can't put Handy or Large Bazooka on AIR. Shooting projectiles on an AIR is useless(Mini Bazooka's your only option and the projectile is so small that...
P(Striking a missile with a tiny-ass projectile) is close to zero, because you have to turn around and shoot the thing.
