x5 rolls vs four x1 rolls?

This may be a really stupid question but I am gonna ask it anyway. lol


Overall is it better to roll x5 rolls due to getting one of them free if you are going for gold bots?

Or just do one roll 4 times on different dates, once again going for more uncommon bots.


I am assuming x5 is overall better but I have been thinking lately. I got both my Fencer and Frau via single rolls when x5 gave me mostly garbage.

Of course its very likely it's just coincidence. After all it is a gambling machine.



Anyone actually know which way is better for uncommon bots?

If you think you'll get supafly in 5x roll, go for it.

Otherwise, 1x.

Though I have noticed when you get Superfly on a x1 roll, you're pretty much GUARANTEED a gold. And lately my superfly x5 have been getting me 1 gold or none anyway, so what's the difference?

Just speaking from experience on the RT garas. Quite literally, EVERY time I get a Superfly on a x1 roll I end up with a gold. Same with my clanmates.

Hoho, this pretty much makes up my mind of what kind of rolls I'll be doin' for Sugoi-Gara.

Well it makes sense logically, since it's taking the chance and putting it into one ball. As opposed to a x5, which is splitting that chance among the 5 balls.

But then again, it's Garapon. Logic doesn't apply here.

Chance is the same

1x roll is more likely to get derpwalk than 5x

Ive never gotten anything but superfly on 5x
No gold from it tho :/

after 4 fail 1x rolls

its just random

1x does not guarantee the random number generator will be nicer to you.

the advantage 1x has is that if you get lucky on that one roll you can stop.

the advantage 5x has is that if you plan to do more rolls it will cost you less in the long run.

they may have made it 40 rt cheaper in exchange for lesser gold rate, and ppl do not noe they did it, thus spamming x5 and not getting what they want, and spending more money while cs laughs at us.

comparing wat i got with all my 5x, to wat my frenz got with 1x, id say 1x gives much better stuff but who knows...

All my 5x rolls yield 2x junk bots (Marill from 1st weekly and Shine Battlers from RT 1)

my last 1x roll in RT 1 yield a Soljeter, my first and only gold ball
after 3 1x rolls in SUGOI yielded Shino, Amateus and Combat Mag

now, I can charge bout 320 RT next weekend
just enuf for 2 5x rolls or 8 1x roll
of course a total of 10 rolls will give me more stuff
but I'm afraid It'll be like my other 5x rolls
maybe I shud mix it and do 9 rolls altogether?

then if u get it for a 5 roll... u will have 5 rolls with better chance...
but if no then only use is the extra free roll...

but also works if u get a car animation (worst).... 5 bad rolls is a problem....

1x will change the bonus on each run, it have its value...

I must say that I prefer the extra free roll....

the sugoi gara have the worst rate.... 5 super man roll can give you all brown ball a no one gold... also amateus and magnuns is like stack.... xD.... T_T no byne no agila...

I rarely get gold with a superman.

I typically roll superfly on RT Gara, I haven't actually kept track, but it's a pretty high percentage, probably something like 80-90% of the time. I always get at least one gold ball, and have gotten up to five gold balls. Following the random ass reasoning here, I would say 'zomg x5 is always superfly and always gibs golds'...except that's not true, because I know this is just stupidly lucky since I have indeed gotten car crash/derp walk a few times. They don't NEED to 'rig the chance on x5,' the Garapon system already is set so that getting a gold ball is the most difficult to get according to probability. It's one in three to get superfly in the first place, then one gold ball out of however many balls total in the Garapon to get that one gold you want.

If I recall correctly, derp walk enables everything up to bronze to be selected. Car crash enables everything up to silver. Superfly enables everything up to gold.

You can't get gold without superfly animation, but that doesn't guarantee you'll get a gold.

That's just probability at work. If you're not planning on doing many rolls, and would rather gamble repeatedly, x1 rolls. If you think you can handle the big gamble, and the possible agony of failure, x5.

Just a random thought, but I really hate how troll is a faddy phrase now. People seem to like to use the word troll way too much. Yes, they must be doing this with malicious intent because they like to see you suffer.

i never knew that animation has anything to do with it. now i wont be able to watch it the same way again...
