How I view scoring and others should

as u noticed I will glady die to chase a kill of some one who has hit me and get yelled at for it --. but let me break down how I view points

Most players have 400-500 hp so every 1000 dmg is 2 kills worth of dmg.

My bots cost 1400-900 cost depending on bot.

Now lets say I ahve a game were I do 3500 points worth dmg and hav 5k cost and around 6 -8 frags

Fps terms that still=s positive kds lest say each bot I killed coast 1000 bp I delt 2000 more dmg of bp to other team than what I costed there for thats a positive KD. 8000bp is what I took from the other team at the cost of 5000 bp

so either Im gonga get a ton of kill and do tons of dmg or do really bad its a risk I take but the high out put of dmg I do when it works out solowing is good for me .

To those ppl
who say I cost alot of bp I did 4 times much dmg to the other team than u.

so when you look at it like this I rarely have a game were I cost the team since I take more bp form the other team than what I cost
which is why I wish cb just used a normal kd scoreing so some ppl could see how bad they are

(excludeing clan tournemnt I didnt even get to fight back T__T)





heres a screen shot to help explain i got trolled for a scre like this cause my bp lets do the math that bp is from 3 deaths

I did 3.7k dmg each bot has 400-500hp In total thats 8 kills worth of dmg meaning Im the reason alone for 8000-10000 of the other teams bp loss.

Point of this thread just cause I have more cost than dmg at tiem dosent mean i didnt take more bp than what my bots cost from the other team so for now On do the math before u troll my cost.

But your not using ARTS anymore right? Your LND now.

IMO, it's always better to survive, farm ammo and 100+hp's, and do more shenanigans for maximum damage with 0 cost.

3325 cost, I'll assume you died 3 times and at 2star - crown rank.

Say your first bot dies at 1800 cost.
2nd at 2500
3rd at 3000

That's 7300 cost.

Yes, you did contribute more then how much you cost.

But the idea of the game is to get the highest score without costing the team much.

I would rather you not die and do 1000-1700 damage then die 3 times.

its not my fault i suffer from insane amounts of lag and WIZ also sucks in general

infact, If the lag was fixed I might be able to play properly and be scoring top 10 like what I usually place >_>

Better idea: Play the same way, but if pursuing is going to get you killed, don't.

healing (yep you got 3 enemies to half hp and you died.. too bad by the time you respawn they got healed to full)
shields (o hai unseen hp)

I have yet to see any bot costing 3000. and 2star -crown rank should only be around 1400 BP if his bot cost 1000. and Rambo type of people is great for scattering the frontline while the teammates picks on the enemies so I think he is quite justified in incuring 4000+ BP with 2000 contribution. Problem is if the teammates did not use the opportunities, the rambo is rendered useless.

I herp 90% of the time, and get awards 75% of the time.

Problem about scoring, titan?

Highest possible cost on a bot is 1745 with a Mighty Byne. If that dies with crown it'll cost 5235 BP.

I think that its something like . . .

damage = ranged normal + melee + support (where support apply to damage only if its something like stun or burn or hippos/items)

damage/kill . . . it depend. many have 300/370 HP, many have 400/500 HP, some even have 550/600 HP (I could make my Mobile Fortress to get to 550 HP and its a Destructor)

yet, lets consider that guys like BoyTitan have bots with 500HP . . . taking from the lower, that is around 250HP for starter bots and considering most have ots with 300/350 HP, the average/kill should be considered as 400 (average from 250 to 600 and average from 350 to 500 then average from both then average of both averages)

considering it as 400HP/kill:
3200 damage = 8 kills

the same goes when u`re healling . . .

400HP/full heal
4000 support and 0 damage = 10 full heals

But ur team lost that battle

WTF! didn't all u see the screenshot from titan?

the 7-8 ranks got just 1500 or less... then he got all the other team, he alone makes the mach for his team.. sure, he will get a high cost, but he killed a lot of the other, I must say that he was playing almost alone!!! being alone will give him a high cost, that wasnt 1 v 1... that was something like 15 v Titan....


so... he is a real Titan! xD....

I think its a fair calc of damage/kills or support/lives saved

Your theory would be absolute right if it was a once-in-a-while occasion
But then Boytitan wouldn't be this famous if that was the case.

I carried the whole team with a byne once,and cost 5625,went WTF?!?!?!?! when I died :/

I screw the scores just like I screw the sun.

Boytitan did 3780 damage, 3325 cost not including cost penalty.

Buddy did 4740 damage, 0 cost. <---this is how you should play.

Boytitan think he is helping....
