| It's not widely advertised. Hence "closed"
Actually CS is brilliant in this move, frequently people who scramble for closed beta keys are not there to really test the game, just there to get a head start, something spiffy, ect. By making the beta open CS says "we have this game, play it, tell us how it goes" and attracts people who are genuinely curious about it, without locking out people who find out about the game later than others. | |
