| Sway, The Cartridge... I am kinda confused on what it does...And is it for melee bots or ranged bots?
A friend told me it was for Melee bots, So i gave it to my melee bots... If it wasn't, How should i play those melee bots with sway?
And yea, What does it do Exactly X3
Thanks for the help~

Sway is a shorter dash that moves quickly, has brief invincibility, and his highly spammable. Distance, speed, and spammability all increase with wlk. Very good for dodging, and it's also superb for positioning with melee (especially when you have something like a Vanguard that knocks back frequently; just sway right up to your target and continue slashing before the stun wears off).

| better explanation -
sway when you dash to the side instead of boosting over to the direct left or right
you go right forward or left forward, so by spamming the left and right arrow keys, you can run straight at the same time
normal dash to the side - =>
sway - /
normal dash forward - l

If it was just "you dash diagonally", nobody would use it. Yes, you do go slightly forward when you dash left or right, but that's only a small feature of it.

And im kinda interesting on the origin of shimapan's siggy :3 Ga-Rei Zero. I've seen JP videos where they have Sway and Boost Run, but I think they use it more to get into Boost Run faster over the normal dash. Could be wrong, haven't seen them use those two in full sync or anything.

is sway work nice with boost run ? There's zero correlation between the two, you know. It's kind of irrelevant. Boost Run just gets you where you need to go faster, at the cost of boost dependence. Taking it should be a decision completely independent of other carts.

Last I checked, the point of dodging cartridges was to dodge, so...nothing? That's like asking what the point of blast guard is aside from lowering blast damage. .-.

I think what he meant was if it was a good... err... zero step substitute, "Run" starter, Chaser, etc etc... And, Can sway really be used to "get to boost run faster"?

| Eh. For me, I just simply tap the button twice, except on the second tap, I hold it down.
Sway + Boost Run is viable, but you don't recharge boost during the animation. I generally use it to run in one direction, suddenly sway in the opposite direction then running again in whatever direction you want. I think that's what people meant by "getting to boost run faster", in which you can easily dash + activate it again, as compared to the normal dash.
Though for such a role, I prefer short boost, since it recovers your boost at the same time, if you can contend with the slight landing lag without quick land, but still worth it.
