Battle rating

Hi, I apologize but kind of getting frustrated. I've been doing very well in all my matches, but my rating keeps becoming bad. I did a few matches before I looked and it was 5 somehting then 5.137 then 5.240 and it keeps going up. I was told that closer you are to 1.00 is good, but my performance on every fight has been well but somehow it keeps going to other way. Don't know what I am doing wrong. x_x"

What?

The higher your BR score is, the better you are. So you can duke it out with high ranking players in high BR room.

Lower score, less experience players.

I get it! It's like college grading system with 10.0 the best instead of 5.0 and 1.0 is hell....

LOLZ... My BR is like my College Average: 2.5(College) * 2 = 5(recent BR)

I didn't see you bitch when all the bots "That were in JP" were suddenly flooded up as topics when they were released in EN.

This just got released in EN, let them discuss it. Its not a thread necro when its reasonable.

I'm around 3.18 to 3.21

So after getting demolished in offense epoch vs DOS (nice job to Shaft and Flandryll, by the way, for securing 1st and 2nd respectively), I decided to have a quick round in a >3.00 BR room.

It was pretty fun.

*shrug*

Once I reach the higher BRs it will be glorious (and will most likely end with my ass getting kicked).

There was STILL someone burning their teammates with fire pillar in 3.0 above room. He ragequit after I insulted him with my cruise control.

I've noticed this Br system is pressuring the lowbies to rambo more than usual to desperately garner some points thus giving free frags for the experienced folks.

Btw, is there a way to look at someone's Br aside from them telling you?

as far as i know there isnt asides the rooms with specific BR

my BR raised from 3.1 to 4.1 so quickly that i think a fucking casual like me shouldnt have such a high rating. now i actualy fear testing new bots on arena because dropping my BR could be bad for the room im in.

I think it gets harder to maintain your Br the higher it goes. I heard some high ranking players with high starting Br had their's steadily decrease unless they're in top 3 or so. I'm not really sure of it. Personally, I started out with 4.888 Br and increased by about 0.050 intervals for each of my battles in top 5 until I reached 5.6** Br. I noticed it already started to slow down in the increase.
