Wing Plus AMJ

Hi guys, wondering where you can get a slotted Wing Plus AMJ? I've gotten only two of these since starting this game after beta was over. I just broke the slot on one of them... so more would be amazing. Any UC alternatives to slotted wing plus amj would be awesome too.

I believe it's an Arena reward... though you get a one-slotted one if you ranked up to New Hero <4> and steel Hero <12>.

never encountered getting one in arcantus or in mission...

I got two of them from ranking up so far and already tuned them both up (toughness for both) XD

It looks like that's the only way to get slotted Wing Plus AMJs

I would suggest that for stats/cost ratio, it is better to buy Tentrion AM in the shop (once you've found at least one) and tune for fly or tec. If the tune fails, no big loss, they're cheap.

Tentrion AM isn't an AMJ though.

1. As a placeholder for two High Boost Alpha/Beta tunes on a bot you haven't tuned to 40 fly yet.
2. For getting more fly/slots on bots with extremely limited part selection (i.e. Crimrose).

Or to look 'cool' according to newbie sources (hence wingplus AMJ's on jikuns)

or to increase your hitbox for god knows what.

This might explain all the marble jikuns in dos that I've seen with the amjs. :V

Yeah I totally agree. They're good for a placeholder for cost so you don't end up going over, and the slotted version is a good way to add even more fly. I just personally don't like using them if I can use a tuned AM instead.

30 cost is too much and my flying bricks are already tight on cost...

well, only one of them is tight on cost actually, but whatever.

by the way, there's not much difference between 39 and 40 FLY right? My brick is now at 33 without these wing+ AMJs, and the high boosts won't get me to 40, its either 39 + 1 boost tune or a Great Boost, which costs a lot. Should I stick at 39 or what?

I doubt 1 Extra Fly is gonna make a Difference, so just leave it on 39.

The last major speed boost is after 38 fly. 40 is nice, but as long as you're above 38 I wouldn't worry about it too much.
