Are missions worth doing?

I heard that you can get mission exusive weapons, but i am unsure if it is worth it to do the missions or not. I dont know much about missions, i only remember fighting some pirate mecha who came out of holes in walls back in beta with my jikun starter. My question is, are missions worth farming for these exclusive weapons and how to get them. I have heard of volcanic grenade, mirco bazooka, and box missles.

Missions are worth doing, for rank Exp.

I remember getting I think it was 500 Rank Exp on I think it was hard Gigan busters. If you got a good team you could probably level far faster than the PVP parties on EX Gigan.

Thanks for the replies! Yeah, so on wednesday me and a couple buddies were gonna go for box missles and volcanic grenade, but then came today.

No freaking way.

The most you can get from a single mission is 200 rank points(except during the mini open beta #2 where they doubled the rank points max you can gain). You can only get 200 rank points if your total score at the end of the mission is equal to or greater than 10,000.
