[Rant] Honestly.

I notice lots of new DoSling lately in level 5 room. Honestly, I am happy to get more new blood on our side. But, god are they awful in arena, and worse of all, lv5 rooms are filled with experienced players from Wiz/Brd.

It's sad that once the game ended, you are in the top10 and everything else is red onward.

How can one help all this newbs improve?

Make Team Fight rooms, I guess.

wiz felt that a lot but brd and dos laught'd at wiz , now wiz laught's better!, problem?

Try to lead by example, and type some advice, I guess. That's what I usually try to do. Sometimes I'll go to lvl 5 rooms to play around with low level bots and see what's going on there. Try not to rage, they're mostly just clueless.

So that explains why on an 11 man DOS team at least 8 were circle ranks.

You know what's most awful about the newbies?
They took the items from tree/cactus and use it at the worst time possible or steal it out right from players who needed it the most.

Firepillar, use it on their own ps when we are getting rush. Same goes with whirlwind, you don't bloody use it behind your art teams back.

Taking the ammo refill from art, you are a lnd type. Give the refill to your art, they need it the most.

+100hp orb. If you see someone low on hp farming trees, don't steal the recovery under his/her nose.

I try to do that, but only after the game ended. Usually the one that needed the advices the most already been kick out of the room. Some doesn't even speak English, which make it harder to give guidance.

Level 5 rooms are serious business.

Seriously though, they are where they belong.
Let them learn at their own pace, if they ask for advice then give them some advice, if they're smart then they might watch some of the better players in observe or check out the forums.

The fact that there are some players in the <5 rooms that probably shouldn't be but it's a better choice then going in the unrestricted rooms.

I do like shooting a circle rank Crimrose out of the sky and killing her before she hits the ground though.

Usually it's the other way around with 11 WIZ circles.

It is an issue for all of the faction I believe, especially when they rushes to death even when they have a very low HP... heck I don't think they even know that healer exists in the game. *didn't saw much Healer lately though, a lot are mainly ARTs and LNDs*.

You know, I really wouldn't doubt that, seeing as their was this Destructor CN that kept running straight into the front lines with the stock shotgun and hammer. I really don't think any newb would be so ignorant as to rush with an ART.

Indeed. You can't expect EVERYONE in your union to be pro in such a short amount of time.

Though I do sympathize with the fact that their development in this game is being hindered due to how the other pros are stomping on the newbies.

I have to agree with that. I'm now just square rank, my highest bot is lvl 6 =/, so you can see me running through lvl 5 arena, but that's mainly cause I still have a lowbie (lower than lvl 5) Crimrose that I should make seraph... It goes slow because I enjoy playing my lvl 6 bots more xD.

But the main thing is that I sometimes see Star rank players pwning with lvl 5 bots. (maybe a coincidence, but the most are WIZ xP).

Well I guess you could tell them strategies by yelling at them. Worked for me when I was still a newbie. As long as you are a triangle or higher, they will most likely listen to you. Therefore, anyone being a battlefield tactician(read: Giving "common sense" advice in battle) to the newbies will be a great help.

Also, they need to experiment with different configurations which will most likely get them killed many times over before they get a core set that they like. So don't worry about only you being the the top 10. Think of it as a training lesson to eventually get the newbies into the top 10.

I'd say, spam your /m with "common sense" and make some newbie friends, so you can teach them stuff. they will most likely appreciate it, and probably look up to you .

Make some teamfights with a group (of newbies), you'll be their "teacher". Or just "someone who doesn't want their nation to lose because of the newbies"

Now go teach some f*cking kids!

There are just some newbs that just can't be saved who ended up turning into noobs. Wiz have some diamonds and pentagons that still fails. Don't worry dos, we feel your pain :3

It doesn't help that some of these newbs don't understand a lick of english, or completely retarded/annoying (INDONESIA for example, or RoboFranky, or NoopDawg, list goes on and on). Retards affect us all

But if you do meet newbs that wants help, you know you will have some decent players down the road
