| I wonder how other player picks their commander bot o.oa Is it you copy the most OP build? You want to use the least popular bot? Mecha? Moe?
For me, I always pick a cute bot regardless of they are strong or not and will just do what I can with their current ability. Hence Lily Rain is my main bot even though Destructor can do well (I don't like boxy type @.@)
I would like Ivis too if it weren't for the fact that she is very OP >.> (I would still use her if she is borderline good)
What about you o.oa | |

| i like a lot air bots, so i have always an air in the team, and a land to help when there are too much artillery around
commando 1) very-low cost suicidal-scout bot (any) 2) medium cost (air) 3) high/medium cost (land)
how i choose: 1) the smallest the better 2) the fastest(wlk, fly) the better 3) able to use it effectively (final score must be > 0, aka can do more points than it's cost)
extra 4) moe 5) the ones who need EXP 6) based on the field map (more air or more land)

| Pick which basic premise of the bot I want to make. Be it farming contribution points, damage, having low cost, support, melee, etc. Then I go with a simple weapon system that everyone knows works. Simplicity along with practicality is the name of the game when it comes to choosing weapons. Then I go look for a robot with a small body, I tend to favor M types when i comes to this, since the smaller you are the more less likely you'll get hit. After I pick the size of the bot I look for cartridges to see if they have any of the useful ones. Then I look at the base stats of the robot.

| 1) Is it something I found useful in OB? It's a keeper. Skip all following steps. 2) Is it a cookie-cutter robot build everybody else uses? If so, I junk it. Skip all following steps. 3) Can I use the robot well enough that my dealt damage exceeds its cost? If so, I keep it, and use it. 4) Do I find it cool/amusing? Keep it, maybe use it a bit. | |

| First two bots are usually identical. Third one is usually just a filler bot that I still want to level.
I always build my bots by hand to maximize its intended role. Typically, that just means getting just enough Tech to snag the next digit of damage for the selected weapons, making sure I have 9~11 Tgh, then getting as much Walk as I can. The only exception is my Giant Enemy Crab, who comes out of the box fast enough and will be later tuned for Tech to grab yet another notch of damage for the selected weapons.

| I decide what I'm going to use the bot for first, then afterward, try to make any combos I can with the parts I have available.
I use mainly full SUP commando, so I have a lot of customization choices.
Right now, my main bot is a melee-type SUP that has a bugsycait's core for max capa and shock shield arm, for disabling sub weapons. It is almost perfect for 1v1ing Jikuns that rush or any type of Full-Sub using bots, even with dual shields.
My other bot has a Cyberion core for its amazing set of carts: Broad Radar, Stealth System, Sniper Sight and Boost Run with a winberrl arm and 300+ range weapons to match the drawgun's range. I mainly use it with hyper shot for insta-frags and like a buffed up reconnaissance Winberrl.
For me it's:
1.) Look at the Capa of the core/cart list 2.) Look at any integrated weapons/sub weapons 3.) Decide if it's going to be melee/range, combat or full SUP type, Jammer or Pure Damage 4.) If it has Float Dash/Quick Jump/Quick Land: give it +Fly. If it has Boost Run/Short Boost and a high walk built in to the core: give it +WLK 5.) Throw Weapons on it
Normally I buy bots just to junk them and fool around with whatever parts I get out of it. If they're bots with unslotted parts or, parts fixed in to the core, I normally give em to Crimrose for Tune up PTs

| I take my robotic lolis...
Modify them to look nice.
Then decide whether or not they're fun to use or not.
In short, I like to use cool/nice-looking ones. Stats come last, unless I see they have room to grow.
Then I abuse them by making them fight other lolis

| Depends whether I'm going for a PvP bot or a Mission/Quest bot
If it's PvP I head only for the low cost guys and try to figure out something.
Missions/Quest wise I try to pick up something with a bit higher HP and/or power. They cost more, but it doesn't matter as much.

| Virtual On was awesome lol, for me it was all about Specineff and his "death mode". It made him invincible for 13 seconds but he died after, however he was more then capable of taking them out in that time. Anyway back on subject lol I normally pick bots by thinking about a few things: - How well will it deal with the inevitable Lagkun/Melee Rush - Does it excel in any way to make it worth picking over something else - How uncommon is it? I hate playing a game with so much customization just to be using the same thing everyone else is (Of course there are reasons everyone is using them, but I feel like most bots do have some potential) - Of course looks are a factor cause who does not want to look badass (Or Lulz) When taking out the opponent? - How well does it actually handle? Stats aside some bots just feel like they handle better then others - Is it Mighty Byne or Amateus? If so you have done well. | |

- Is it Mighty Byne or Amateus? If so you have done well. 1. You don't deal with it, you become one with it. By lagging the hell out to sync yourself with the lagging Jikuns I mean. 2. Good point 3. Practice skinning and you can make any bot look badass actually. 4. The ones on wheels sure do move much smoother than the ones on legs. 5. The manliest of the manly bots, for the manly only.
