But you can get Sword Medals with Lumiera? How do you do that?
Good thing I have a Lumiera in the works with 2 Great Rapid Betas on her weapon so far, and is also at 31TEC 24FLY.

I think you're talking about holx, holx's sub weapon does melee damage, that's why.

I think you're talking about holx, holx's sub weapon does melee damage, that's why.

Original weapon deals melee too. I got all these medals long before I got Holx.

The subweapon of both Lumes Rod (Holx) and Monokeras Rod (og) use sword particles in their subweapon, I think Holx just has more hits in it, so the weapon is better for the infamous Armor Breaker tactic.

Aside of that, her Lustre Shield (bits) apply their debuffs by hitting the enemies with melee. You can use counter dashes/parry mains against them. Holx shield is Abyss-kuns best friendo-

There is a difference between original and Holx's shield?

Holx gives slow turn (and something else?), vanilla is suppoirt reject and powerless iirc. Basically vanilla debuff is more of a general annoyance, while Holx secures beck hits (aka [CRITICAL] Attack).

You mean her shield, or her Sub Missile?

Also I was always told that regular Lumiera is better than Holx. Now I'm hearing differently?

Both wonderbit and lockon subweapons have sword hits.

OG Lumiera with Lumes (=Holx) rod is probably the all-purpose combination.

OG has the superieror anti-AIR weapon (it's basically a bazooka, if tuned right she can probably deal 3digit dmg to them) and, if buffed, a suprisingly fine stun rate, even against LNDs. Holx is better for armor break, because the hits are so accurate it's silly. Her main has that shoot-behind-you-feature that made Homura so popular.
