12/04/2017 end of service

Dear Breakers,

It is with a heavy heart that we must inform you all that Cosmic League will be ending its services on April 12th, 2017 00:00 PDT.

This decision did not come easy, and we know this is disappointing for many of you.
We have had an amazing year long run with all you, and we hope you had fun while playing Cosmic League.

Between now and April 12th, 2017, the game will remain available to play, however new account creation as well as the payment page are now disabled.

Next week on March 22nd, 2017 00:00 PDT, we will have our final update and shift the currency used in-store from Rt/UC/FP to only UC/FP.

Regarding Rt, we urge you to spend any Rt you have left between now and the March 22nd, 2017 00:00 PDT update as the shop prices will be changed and Rt will no longer be obtainable.

Any Rt that is not spent will not be refunded, we recommend you to spend any Rt you have left.

Due to the end of service the end dates for the following have changed.

good that they have decided to end its misery

Don't think anyone's surprised.

From what little I played of it, I assume the issue is that it didn't do enough to differentiate itself from CB1. They had a chance to start anew and build off what made CB1 enjoyable, but all they did was create a slower CB with even less to do, and they slowly went down what feels like the same path as CB1. Nobody is gonna ditch a game they heavily invested both time and money into just for what is more or less the same (albeit slower) game on a more stable engine but with less content.

How is Onigiri still alive?

CL had a smaller but even more terrible community, that's the only thing that surprised me.

What terrible community where

Mostly in the CoolCat's clan along with people who enjoyed purposely shitting on new people because maxed ranked people could freely go into newbie rooms.

That just sounds like a matter of similar community but with the tripe of it being more pronounced due to low population. There's no glaring issues when the game was in its honeymoon period.

Weeb-bait communities are all the same.

I only farmed like 50$ for CL

and then never played it again, its basically the same shit as CB1

so why so I spend my time on CL when my CB1 is loaded :V

CB2 is slow paced at first and have less content. It's not THAT BAD but is not a great game.
