I would prefer sway because it's better to position for a lance combo.

I don't think I'm gonna ex tune a 1s Ivis reine... I'll be just putting her as a collection on my garage and going to use her when I get bored...

Still I would forsake HP and STR to get some 16 tgh so I won't melt from Alphags... A lesson that I got after full tuning my Ivis HD...

Don't be like that, even if you don't own the bot but if you fought with it countless of times of experience you can still have a good theory on how to build one.

Veil just gives 30% damage reduction... it's entirely different from having blast guard and sword guard then have additional all guard buff which stacks with each other.

I'm not sure if you noticed from last DX coin event that alot of those that purchased Ivis HD are complaining on how fast they got killed from alphags in anniversary area every after round of UW.

but u get 30% from beam and shell as well meaning

if the bullet is both beam and shell u get an addition 60% reduction

or am I just doing math wrong again!?!?

Hmmm... if I remember some forum posts months or years ago there are weapons that has different properties... Most evident that I personally have is Sledge Heim... I am going to estimate his Blast Tackle is around 85% melee and 15% blast, it can be seen on UW scoreboards every time I die that I have higher damage than melee score when I use Sledge Heim until death, but I didn't do the calculator so my estimate is not entirely correct. On my assumption those that have both sword guard and blast guard I hit around 70. For those with only Blast guard I hit around 90. For those without any guard carts I hit 120-150...

So if an attack is 100 damage with 30% shell and 70% beam, all guard buff from either sapphire veil or revenge tunes or something will take 30% off the 30 shell damage and 70 beam damage separately and add it up. It also stacks with tgh reduction after consecutive hits. For example my 40 tgh bot without cv the 4th-?th hits from alphags hits around 15... when all guard buff is activated from revenge tune it goes as low as around 9 and less.

This is assumption on experience. So please someone correct me if I am wrong without flaming my stupidity.

it's more about the cv in general, with cv you don't get stuns, but that also means that
you don't get the stun invul frames and will take all the damage from the hits, it in addition
to the naturally low tgh...

Well, I can do a build for this with no problem, I just think that I won't be much better with
a cv melee than I am with a "regular" melee...
