A really awesome Horror Game I found out about, and has to be one of the best ones I've played in a while. It's by the developers of Amnesia The Dark Descent, but a lot more in-depth and engaging.
SOMA is about a man named Simon who volunteers to take part in an experiment that might help save his life after his life expectancy has been cut short due to a head injury. However, after taking part in the experiment, he wakes up to find himself 100 years in the future, inside of a decaying underwater laboratory. Simon isn't the only thing down there though, as for there is a number of strange robots, hideous Body Horror Mutants, and a mysterious AI of the facility named WAU, who are lurking there too. Simon must make his way through the facility, and throughout, finds out some disturbing information about both the crewmates aboard the lab, and himself as well!
The game really does well on the Puzzle Horror stuff, a lot better than Amnesia does. I find it like Dead Space meets Bioshock too. It also has a lot of neat concepts having to do with certain part revealed later on in the game!
If you're into neat sci-fi horror, you just gotta try SOMA!
