They're weapons, parts, and accessories drops available in all modes, including Arcantus. The weapons all come pre-tuned (the tunes can't be removed). Some of the drops are tradeable, some are tagged as DR and can't be traded.
The DR stuff is going to continue until at least the end of the month. Looking at how long the drops have been extended in the JP version, it's possible we might see them hang around here for a while longer. Or maybe not. Who knows.
