I'm glad I held my coins instead of immediately buying her USBs. I guess I'll just get her for the BS and buy other things in the store.

I spent my first, of the new batch of DX coins, today.

I got a Fia, just to have her BS for Fiona.

(It doesn't have green thrusters like most arts.. it has small flames, just like Fiona's leg boosters. Vanity FTW.)

Glad I'm not the only one who pushes for vanity and cuteness on my moebots.

My mechs, on the other hand, look badass as shit.

Rinka MR and Initone tempt me. Another 3s Steel Burn arm wouldn't be bad either. Good thing there's almost certainly going to be another arena battle campaign so I can get all of those things! Going for Rinka first.

I'm actually starting to use her on Arena, and I actually did put tunes on her, in case someone was wondering. I'm not just running around with a L0 bot, dying and ranting about it. It's just that her benefits and drawbacks aren't balanced at all.

Her subweapon with the shock is nice, but no lock makes it really hard to use it, since you never know if it's tracking or not (it's a ranged weapon after all), or who it's tracking, or if they are even in range.
Main weapon can't overrange, and I still have to test it because I can't see if it homes or redirects the bullets once you fire them, I was wondering if they copied OG Melfi's bow, since they have pretty much the same stats, but doesn't seem like it or not. Still have to test this a bit more. I did put tunes on it to hit better, but it's still rather meh. Do note I'm not mentioning anything related to damage.
Her other main is just slow, but the push can be really nice to defend yourself, nothing special here.
Now, the crystal ball and the buffs is the big problem. When you use it, it gives no buffs, then you hit the enemies and it starts giving buffs. This is a big drawback, since the bit can be destroyed before you are even able to activate the buffs, this also mean that you have to go near the enemy to shoot them enough times to get the buffs. 10 and then 10 more hits doesn't seem like a lot to get all the buffs (less if you use the sub), but in practice, it can be rather terribad. Mostly because you actually need to make the weapon hit, so you have to not only deal with the drawbacks from the crystal ball, but the drawbacks from the other 2 weapons. It's a pretty big stack of drawbacks.
I haven't been able to get buffs "charge" before using the bit first, unless something is wrong on my end.

Another problem is how it doesn't feel rewarding to use her. Her sup points output is just too low when you have so many things working against you. On a good match, I mean good as in, I could give the crystal ball and shoot people right away to get buffs through most of the match, I got so little points, I couldn't even get a card for it, and most of the people that got more points than I did, weren't using supports and were just attacking the enemy (and maybe trees).
Like, you have to actively attack people, at least until you get the buffs, and then you get really low amounts of points because the buffs doesn't give many points, and unless you tune tec, which will decrease your survivability a good chunk I suspect, you won't really be getting enough damage to give you a nice amount of total points.

I will keep using her for some more time, if anything changes, well, for better, I will say so. But honestly, it's no wonder most people say she's bad, she does have a lot of downsides that make her go down. It's a shame though, the concept is nice, since it makes it so she's not an idle support (musicians are nice, but the gameplay ends up numbing people into staying in 1 safe spot, same with Lala, to name a few of the most common), and I mean support, not anything else that heals.



My Koyomi didn't need any USB (from the shop), since she brings 1 USB with her already.

Edit: It's worth mentioning that unlike bots like Lumiera and Corona, Koyomi can't charge her buffs by hitting trees/barriers/hippos, it has to be actual players.

I'm not complaining, per se. I'm just starved over things I recently got that I should've gotten years ago.

I mean, ugh, look: Anyone I know knows that I vehemently hate the gara system, and that I vowed never to spend a single nickel on this game. That being said, I've played mediocre shit for more than two years relying solely on skill. You don't know how mind-numbing that is, playing AG for 2 years straight until other lucky rolls gave me some tolerable bots I can use (CKACs, Bikini Illumis, and some bots and mixed-and-matched for alphastrikers). Still, the selection is very bleak. Fast forward to almost 3 years and here I am, getting most of the stuff I could ever want but would only ever dream of using (because they seemed to have realized that they can just dump us bots and reserve the slot protectors to once-a-month campaigns), and yes, my skill never diminished in that regard.

You could say I'm complaining about free stuff, but dammit, I'm complaining about it in a way that might concern people who, like me, have never spent anything playing this game.

Potshotting on what constitutes to a person's skill in playing this game is a low blow.

why they cant just make it non-homing and it will better
