Sylvia is a really good example of a bot that QSR dicks over. Her combo will flat out drop if you have it/your tough is on the lower end of the spectrum.

I tried air Nemlin out before I decide what to put on her weapons and if to include any handhelds.. and I found out that I can't hit shit with her untuned homing beams.

That was one of the two choices that I was considering.

The homing beams converge at around 300 range. Shooting at someone that's 200 range away usually results in over half of them missing, because the convergence point is so far past them.. So, alpha Rapid and Force tunes would closen the convergence point which should make hitting things much easier. (I'm considering: Great Force Alpha / High Force Alpha / Great Rapid Alpha to quicken the projectiles and increase each of their force from 7 to 9.)

The other choice was to remove her homing beams and just slap some handhelds on her.. which would be a waste of her homing cross beams.. since she's the only unit in the entire game that has her type of weapon. (I'd probably go with something like a crystal beamgun mod or two.)

My biggest concern with air Nemmu is antihoming. She only has two weapons.. one is a remote and remotes are fucked by antihoming.. and the other is a homing beam. I haven't shot it at seraphs, but I believe its safe to assume that homing beams won't hit an antihoming unit.

Might not be the best idea.
As always, there are two range values on weapons, the lockon range and the despawn range. tuning -range or +range actually affects both these numbers. Putting too much -range on her will make them start to despawn sooner, so depending on how much range you are locking on from they may simply vanish before hitting the target. As they are homing weapons they will also lose "chase" ability when people move out of lockon range of whatever you are locking onto people with.
Depends on how far away you'll be shooting from, really.

yes, antihoming destroys her, but she has a big enough threat range to have things to shoot at anyway.

Ah, fuck.. Good point.. I had not considered the despawn range. Those tunes would make the beams have 240ish range and her bats are 280. I probably shouldn't reduce the beams to less than the bats' range.

She's a really cool looking unit with a unique WB and a remote weapon to alpha with. (She looks even more awesome with a Heavy Felchas BS.. it turns her silhouette into a pentagram.) I want to build her into an alpha that's at least halfway practical. Not having any defense against antihoming bothers me, though. I really hate not being able to hit someone.. especially if its someone that I like to shoot. I may try different loadouts with beamgun mods / crystal beamgun mods / something similar.)

Rukoko has his with CBC mod to fight antohoming. Other people have her GRange Magnet Gun to increase her zoning. It really depends. Just remember she likes capacity tunes.

I've yet to try that bot but I hear that his AMs work well with Synoris BD for Alpha-striking if I'm not mistaken.

This "Melt kills Last Stand" mechanism came later when Last Stand got nerfed after, not before.

Support Rejection already does the trick since Day 1 of Drive carts came out

lower tgh bots are either meant to avoid direct engagements or fight other melee with their special abilities.
lilu in particular was made at a time when the game had an ivis problem, and her support reject clears ivis self-CV(and thus nerfs her melee) so it's pretty clear she isn't supposed to fight those "stunthefuckoutofyou" bots.
other melees are, that's why they have more tgh.
Giving them all the same base stats would eliminate the point of them having different intended roles.
