ballistic isn't really optimal on tbg, better to use a non-homing weapon when you have homing subweapons.

@Winty
Well, that's embarrassing. I did my math right, but I made a typo. Those are supposed to be tank tunes, to get Toy-chan to indigo-tier boost run. Cosmicalc doesn't like Ipads, so I have to do most of the details myself. I'll fix that.

Also, the tuned ballistic launcher's missiles perform much better than the toy missiles; at 210 speed, those slow things won't be hitting all that often (I also can't aim them upwards).

So, a large bazooka? Or would a blast magnet gun (mod) be acceptable (even though it homes and does fairly low damage, it's unaffected by disorder, bad homing and anti-homing)?

you can't even put Lbaz on a TBG.

there's a large number of weapons that will work for her.

Consider what your subweapon won't hit: airs with an antihoming buff. That's why you try to bring a main weapon that covers your weakness: antihoming.. so you have a means of self defense when a Seraph or a Monigga is circling your head.

She's too small for an LBAZ. Middle Baz is ok.. Blow Baz is ok.. Blast Baz would mean that you can't really damage lands charging at you.. Parasol is ok, but it has charge-up.. Basically, look at your weapon inventory that's available and try to pick a direct fire weapon that you have and are comfortable with.

(I'm still considering a ROAR arm TBG.. but I need to remember to ask someone with a Seraph to help me test how much more speed it needs to hit them, if it even can. I remember I tested SCRAM MOD and it needed about +30% speed to reliably hit her.)

@AnTi90d
Do you overrange your ROAR arms? If so, you may be able to get away with Grapid alpha tunes on that, but then you'd lose out on some stats; there's almost always a tradeoff with these older builds.

No, my (half baked and untested) plan (that I came up with while being very intoxicated) was to give her moving burst, a roar arm and and that 10 cost 1 tec flower shooting gun to bypass the cooldown.

I'll give it speed with GRBs and vanilla rapids. The loss of ammo doesn't concern me, as I still have 400+ arena ammo items. I'll start testing with a single GRB, once I find a Seraph partner and have some extra time to waste, and continue from there if it turns out that I still need more speed.

Honestly, IDK, either, because I don't use psyguns all that much. If it doesn't, I'll give her a Parasol.. just like my Eeelooh-chan.

..but.. there is this statement from a usually reliable source from Sun Apr 20, 2014 6:58 AM that gives me a glimmer of hope:

Quote :
psyguns are not homing weapons and have always ignored anti-homing

That's not what he meant.

And psyguns have always ignored homing.

psyguns aren't reliable at long range due to how they work.
overranging them is a pretty silly idea because of this.

RoarAMs don't need speed. They doubly don't need it on TBG, who will be using it on things very close to her anyway. Tune force on them.

Psyguns have another advantage in that they can score hits from some pretty absurd angles, which is good for TBG because people are dumb and try to close into the safespot of missiles when they see one. Being able to hit right above your head is very useful for these times.

Works great against LNDs in melee range too. You can actually kite things with psygun/toymissile/psygun.
