game wont start seeking help

well when i run the updater it works fine and updates no issue then when i start the game it loads the window flashes up then vanishes and repeats every try

i have attempted reinstalling and have played CB for years first time iv had this issue

happens to me a lot, try closing various applications (like web browser etc) it helps for no reason for me
