jst the client works Empty
PostSubject: jst the client works   jst the client works EmptyFri Nov 14, 2014 3:04 pm

Hello everyone and thanks in advance.

i recently upgraded from windows 8 to 8.1, and now the client opens, updates, but closes when i try to start the game. I cant even get to the login screen.

The only record of the error are these hs_err_pid files.

I have tried all vm on 8.1, and all trouble shoot compatibility settings with no results.

My system is a gateway ZX4800, its an all in one pc, with 4 gigs of ram, Intel GM45 Express Chipset, and Intel dual core t4400 2.20ghz

It's probably the anti-alias option not enabled. I went to a cafe, started CB there, and enabled it and copied the client with the saved settings to my pc.

OK now i don't think that if i give you my option file, ur CB would be able to use it. So here's the step:
+ Down grade your graphics driver to an old version, choose a driver from 2013 or earlier.
+ Start your CB, now u should be able to open your game now
+ open Option, tick "Anti-Alias" option and then properly close game client
+ update ur graphics card driver to latest and play

I'm sorry to say, that after rolling my driver back, I got the same result. Client opens, updates, closes.

After looking around the internet, i found that the hs_err_pid file is left behind to show a java script error, and is common in other games, but other game fixes for this don't seem to apply.

uninstall java , download a pc software cleaning program (i use CCleaner) , delete leftover java files , scan the registry and delete any unknown registry values.

redownload latest java (much better to download the offline version for less hassle in installing).
