Finally a i7 is overkill for a 760 your gpu is a bottleneck. My intel core i5 4440 is enough to run 760s in sli> It easily pushes the one I have so far you could have gotten a better graphics card like a 780 or 770 and step down in cpu to a   i5 4670k.
