A new Mecha anime has come out, and this one is unique because it has Vampires too!
It's called "Valvrave the Liberator."

Valvrave the Liberator 3mechashows

Valvrave the Liberator takes place in a futuristic society wherehe world divided into two major power blocks and a neutral country. ARUS, which is basically America/Western Europe, and Dorssia, a Nazi-Soviet Empire. Both sides have control of Earth and Space, as well as a system of Dyson Star facilities too. Suddenly, the neutral country of JIOR gets invaded by Dorssia, but a band of students find a set of mechs and use it to liberate one of the stations known as Module 77, declaring themselves their own nation. The main protagonist is an ordinary school student, and his allies are an idol singer, a delinquent, his best friend, and a hacker.

Also, the pilots of the mechs are all vampires, as for these mechs run on memories and brain acid, which only a vampire can survive losing. In fact, before becoming a pilot, it asks "Do you resign as a human being?"

So far I've watched some of it, and it's pretty interesting.

What do you all think of Valvrave the Liberator?

Watched the start but it turned dumber than Kampfer as time went on (Kampfer was pretty dumb for an anime)

The way a high schooler climbs up a robot he's just seen for the first time and uses as if that is his daily toy makes sense so much.
