i'm going to begin making different colored aprons #em1

I wasn't sure if the shoes or socks needed to be recolored too but, if you would like it to be a different color feel free to suggest, Also I had trouble with the transformation re-coloring o.o since I couldn't get the skirt to be blue too x.x

I think it would really suit Chloe V (I want her even more now!) but I'll have to settle for Pepo V.
I wish you the best of luck in recolouring the aprons in more colours, they don't look easy to do.

I don't think you can actually do (dark) velvet red transitioning into white with the coloring style Nancy uses.
The recoloring method she has demonstrated so far is applicable to light colors.
A picture is worth a thousand words, so, here you go:

This is probably the best result you can aim for dark colors.
The sensation of brightness is sacrificed due to the monotonous coloring/loss of white providing contrast which would otherwise be detrimental to the overall image.

What are you using to create your images? There are compression artifacts everywhere.
