the introduction of the word "toxic" by riot games was the biggest self-fullfilling prophecy in the last 10 years.
Whenever someone is doing something you don't like, just say they are being "toxic" to start a shitstorm that will ruin whatever game you are attempting to play.

When they don't play how you are supposed to do, they are toxic player.

When they don't follow up your game style, they are toxic player.

So we all are toxic player.

Well they destroy teamwork by spamming the same radio message all map, they are being toxic.

Trolls, if you want to use terminology before Riot came around.

And i'm pretty sure calling them out for spamming radio messages had nothing to do with their playstyle.

it's not like people haven't done this to be annoying since beta
it's not like people use radio messages that much aside from begging for repairs and telling people you're repairing at the start of the match when everyone is full hp anyway.

This can easily be solved by typing in:

/ignore PLAYERNAME

..where PLAYERNAME is that player's name, typed exactly.

Its a minor report, maybe the community will consider paying attention to toxic players.

Its also not worth telling people not to report toxic players. That is a lot worse than what the toxic players are doing.

I know Anti, I fixed it for myself.

But Cosmic Break needs new players, so we should report people that drive away new players. Its a small community.

Two of the players in the initial post use radio macros meaningfully. And even if they do overuse some messages, it is because players in this game have poor situational awareness. Better safe than sorry.


A lot of players do spam the radio in order to beg for heals, however, which does make me dislike them. I wish they never included that command. It's completely worthless.

I was there. Fanservice was bored and dicking around for several matches. That match, he switched to Ravi, dropped a gate at our PS, dropped the exit at the other PS and spammed radio macros for the rest of the ~eight minute match. It was nowhere near "toxic" behavior and would only really be annoying to people who didn't know about the /ignore function.

Also, reporting assholes in a game with a small playerbase will result in an even smaller playerbase. The only shitters worth reporting are botters and hackers; there aren't serious hackers for this game, due to its lack of popularity and weekly updates.. and the botters are almost extinct.
