Wow.. the new GameBoy has DLC?..
When that shit came out in the tail end of the 80's, we had a shitty, green screen that was so tiny several companies sold magnifying glasses that strapped onto the front.. the speaker was so terrible that several companies sold speakers that clamped onto it and plugged into the headphone jack.. the buttons were so shitty that several companies sold better buttons that clipped onto the real buttons.. and it took an entire fist full of batteries to play for a few hours so several companies sold larger and/or rechargeable battery packs..
After all the addons, that shit could only barely be called portable:
I wish handheld gaming had gone further down the path of the Sega Nomad. (It tanked basically because greedy, old Sega demanded too much money for it.. $300 when Gameboys were $80 and GameGears were $120.) The Nomad was the greatest handheld gaming system of its time. It took full sized Genesis cartridges. It was basically a portable home system, utilizing every single one of that home system's games.

I don't know a single person who bought any sort of attachment you named off. Only things I recall being used were carry cases.

We weren't even born yet when the things AnTi was mentioning were out so that's probably why.

Shit.. I didn't even have a GameBoy.. I just played the ones that my friends had.. usually to help them beat a boss that they sucked too bad to beat.. (Like that shitty Metroid game.) They were the ones that had those peripherals.. (and most of them had all or most of those attachments.)

I had a original gameboy all those add ons were not needed. I enjoyed a vanilla gameboy experience so much it was my only gameboy syste... Maybe I didn't enjoy it that much. Still addons were unneeded.

How bad is it that I know where Relict's avatar comes from?
Also I said bye to my senior friends as I, some of them, and some of my other underclassmen friends went to see Godzilla. Most of the fun was had at the Ice Cream shop where we went to afterwards. The movie itself was mostly meh. I'll dearly miss them.

Derp. I just realized my shirt is inside out. Good thing I'm wearing a jacket so you don't really notice it. I'll just go to the restroom during break and put it on properly.
I was in a rush this morning 'cause the alarm of my mobile didn't go off again, or maybe I just slept through it. I'd use my alarm clock but it's so loud that it wakes everyone else up as well, and it has no option to change the volume.

Yeah, i still remember those times. My family didn't bought a lot of games at that time, only the quintenssial: a Mega Drive with the Sonic games and a few Disney games (Aladdin and the Lion King were two of them), a SNES with Super Mario world and some other random titles, and the Gameboy had Tetris, Super Mario Land (1 to 3) and LoZ: Link's awakening. While these may sound many, they were only bought on birthdays and Christmas, and since we were three boys, the number of games each owned was low.
The side who had more games was a cousin of mine, because his father had an important work in Portugal's Sony branch, which allowed him to bring a lot of Playstation games. I fondly remember those times because i earned the Platform King title at the time where platforms ruled the casual gameplay with Crash Bandicoot and Spyro.
It's where i also learned the concept of zombies from Resident Evil. Spent 3 months with the bathroom's lights on while sleeping due to the first time i watched my uncle play that game ... at night ... with no lights ... on full volume.

The first time I played Resident Evil, I was sixteen and staying the night at a friend's house. They converted the basement into his bedroom, which was sweet. It was really dark and had no windows. We stayed up all night playing it, hopped up on caffeine pills.. and we didn't have a memory card.. so, when we died, we really died.. and passed the controller to the next person to start all over. (The furthest we made it was to the snake.)

Pretty sure most people played Lion King. I only had 8 games for the mega drive, because they were expensive. But living in a small town allowed me to play other games, as we would lend games pretty often. So often that most of the games that I have with me, aren't mine, and mine are on someone else's house, if they still exist. Well, I only let that happen because I trust the guy, and it was the games that I didn't really care as much. With other people I pretty much game their stuff back when we stopped talking with each other, though I wish they had the same attitude, instead of keeping it. Cunts. Some dude never gave me back my gen 1 Digimon Tamagotchi. I really liked it, and wanted to keep it, but the faggot wouldn't give it back and I was pretty much fed up with the people from that town, so I never really came back to talk with people, and even when I lived there for a few months again, I never really bothered talking with people besides 2 of them, and barely went outside. I love the town, but I despise the people. Even after I left, my school was still the same, and lots of people would see me, not even a simple greeting they would bother to utter, but all of them would go tell me mom what I was doing. Once I entered the bus to go to the supermarket which was 2 bus stops away, and note that this was on a different town, and people told me mom (she used to work in the town where I grew up even after we left) that I went to the city (which is the last stop). Really? I pretty much couldn't take a step without someone to go tell to my mom to fuck me up, even when it was stupid things that wouldn't fuck me up, but meanwhile, they wouldn't say good morning or good evening. Fucking human trash. That's why I had to tell or ask my mom about certain things. When I turned 16 years old, I asked my mom if I could go drink some beer with classmates after school, because the moment people saw me, they would go tell, and my mom knowing and allowing me to do so wouldn't give me any problems.
But, yeah, today I bought Guilty Gear Isuka even though I don't really play fightan games.

Think of Koiro and CAV's shared fetish! I didn't find this myself; a friend of a friend shared what he was finding somewhere.
@Sorrow

And yes I can try to keep in contact with them. But when I go to college I won't see them too much. I plan on going out of state for a specific reason, while they'll be staying in the same state we live in for their college. However, I could probably visit them every other weekend, or on holidays/breaks since the state I'm going to for my college is next to our home state.
