My computer Used to be able to run CosmicBreak!

Now it can't! I don't know why!

1) This should have been posted HERE

2) You give no details regarding your issue that would allow us to discern a possibility of what occurred that you now can't get the game to work.

3) The servers are currently offline if you mean you are getting Maintenance messages. Servers re-open Dec 16th, 12:00 PM, Pacific Standard Time.

4) If you are talking about Cosmic Commander as if it was Cosmic Break... :facepalm: the Alpha Test ended.

5) If you can't get the Cosmic Break launcher to load, then I suggest you uninstall, then re-install the game.

6) If your system specs are not within what is stated on the download page and yet you've been playing the game, you might have computer damage from pushing your performance.

7) When you install/update, you might what to be sure that your Anti-virus and/or Firewall are not effecting your ability to get the updates or install the game.

otherwise... I need more information to go on to actually provide better support

Otherwise,
You'd probably need to update your game.
If that doesn't work,
Reinstall it with a newly downloaded client.

If it continues to fail,
You need to become more specific in what error/s you're getting.

My specs easily surpass what's needed for Cosmic Break for the most part, but even in single player, I have these little lag spikes that I can't seem to get rid of. What's the problem?

You probably have too many stuff running at the same time.

Have you tried testing your PING?
Even if you're playing single player mode,
It doesn't mean you're not connected to the server.
Your ISP counts as a factor too.

how do I test the ping on CB?

The closest thing you can get with legal means of testing your ping is selecting the San Fransico, CA location to test your ping.
Servers are located near there,
But are undisclosed as a mean of protection.
