So it was pretty weird to find Onigiri on the ps4 online store. It explains why cs has been investing in such a generic mmo and why our global accounts defaulted to the onigiri one. Also explains the slow down of hyped up updates for new transforming bots that use to come out every other week. I'm not aware of any other f2p mmorpgs on the consoles much less anime themed, just a bunch of western ones and none that follow the traditional mmorpg route. Best case scenario a bunch of new people curious about cybersteps other games check out cb. Worse case scenario, development for cb fall off the deep end but reality will probably meet somewhere in the middle.

Kusogiri was C$ response to PSO2 which isn't quite the response to japan's casual mobile gaming boom (and can't compete for obvious reasons with the first anyways).

In Onigiri's alpha, controls were sort of clumsy compared with similar action-combat games (like, by example, Vindictus, Dragon Nest or TERA). By example, you pushed 'forward' command, you got like 1.5 meters to the front, and so. Dunno how it was its reception worldwide or in the PS4.

Onigiri for the PS4 has been rated 2 out of 5 on Gamefaqs.
http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps4/735946-onigiri
Also, Cyberstep is secretly working on another online game: Katamari Damacy ONLINE.
Remember that game? It was on the PS2, I think.. and you started off the size of a paperclip.. and you just rolled trash around into a ball.. and the ball got bigger.. then you rolled cats and dogs and chairs into the ball.. and the ball got bigger.. then you rolled people and cars and houses into the ball.. and the ball got so big that the king of the universe threw it into the sky and it became a star.
-----edit-----
Whoops.. nevermind the Katamari Damacy Online.. it was cancelled.
WHY, CYBERSTEP, WHY?.. That was a great game!..

Indeed. I wonder why they cancelled it...
The game was so fun that there's even a reference about it on World of Warcraft, in what i consider one of the most awesome and hilarious quests of the expansion it debuted (which was Cataclysm btw). I mean, come on, you became a GIANT BALL OF DOOMING FIRE! You roll over leper gnomes and amass their corpses on your engine of mass destruction. It was sheer lunacy!
I'd give the quest link, but i can't access the website from where i am atm. Maybe later.
In the meantime, enjoy the video:

My brother got me into that game, and I play it all the time on my PS2 emulator since he took it with him when he moved away.
