So I've been going around MLG threads looking for tunes for this weapon in its different variants and so far

Anyway there are so many tune options for 3s and stuff and there seem to be none for 1s (?)

So the way I see it, it needs rapids. It has 100 ammo so going GRB may not be a choice (?)

So what do you think, people? Discuss MLG, post score with it on different tunes, anything that can help. It seems like a very much used weapon and perhaps we could turn this into a guide thread?

PS: this is one of the few times when I'm not being a piece of shit and I'm trying to create a sort of reference thread on a widely used item.

I finally got a 3s MLG, myself. (I've been wanting one since they first came out.)

My plan is: Test it out, untuned in arena.
If I can hit people = all force tunes.
If I have trouble hitting people = speed tunes until I can, then force tunes.

Your personal skill, reaction time and computer will affect how good you are at using it with its default speed value. So, I'd suggest seeing if you, yourself, can regularly land hits with it in its vanilla stage before putting tunes that someone else uses onto a weapon that you will use.

(I've gotta get back on that offer wall train.. I need another Shaden for this.. I have two; one for Para tuned SDC and one for 400+ range / 500 spd AM4.)

that is more than fantastic advice

which rapid tunes would you recommend? do you agree with my ideas? GRA or HS?

I tend to run really high cost Shadens. My plan is either going HS HS GFA or HAF GFB GFB.

Here's the breakdown: (assuming 40 tec)

HS HS GFA ------- 270 cost - 53 force - 341 range - 396 speed -100 ammo - 79 damage
HS GFA GFA ------ 255 cost - 57 force - 279 range - 363 speed -100 ammo - 84 damage
HAF GFB GFB ----- 255 cost - 57 force - 310 range - 363 speed - 90 ammo - 84 damage
GFB GFB GFB ----- 240 cost - 61 force - 310 range - 330 speed - 70 ammo - 90 damage

I'm actually a bit disturbed that you thought 74 sub ammo and 40 main ammo was enough to do 7.2k

I have a 3x g.force one as well, I'ld recommend that for yolo-ing, You get the big american dps at the cost of having more difficulty with hitting stuff. The only reason I usually use the 2x high shooter 1x g.rapid is because thoarlas are extremely fat and having the luxury of hitting stuff from a longer range is really handy

i think hshooter is a shitty tune

1s should be gforce or grapid depending on your playstyle.

that depends entire on the bot you are playing and your playstyle.
On the tierogue I'm making, I'm doing grapid gforce on an old 2s mlg, both -ammo. Mainly because I have her supweapon to provide additional damage and the LG attack to farm with, meaning that even if I don't get extra ammo I can still provide additional damage. Since I'll be working from above using her throwboosted stovl, I don't want to drop range.
I don't think adding range increases the effectiveness as much as pure speed does, especially considering the extra cost unless you actually greatly benefit from the range - like with certain homing weapons, or things like icy that have incredible range and thus gain more benefit from a +% increase.

I see, so if you have other decent weapons -ammo would work fine.

Indeed, -range would severely gimp the weapon.
