Yay, new Fairy Tail started. First ep is out. Haven't watched it yet, but according to a friend it already looks really good.

i watched the first episode of akuma no riddle. I can't say it's good, but it might be not terrible. Unless they decide to completely fuck it up.

see this is the kind of anime that is neither good or bad. It's just fucking nothing. You have no idea what it's going to be. If i was an unnaturally curious person I'd probably just drop it because it's fucking stupid.

also watched the first episode of mahouka. 5/10 it's decent, has potential but isn't outstanding in any way.

Yeah, I liked One-week Friend too.

I watched everything this season except the SOL and the sports anime. Dimey Dollar game me the surprise: even though the design is shit it felt like a throwback to the old 80's-90's mecha anime with ero MCs.

They fucked up Date a live again, i don't even remember which part is this ep belong to in LN. And the last few minutes contains wtf lots of spoilers. How to survive until twincest arc end?

in the anime since it's all cgi they just copy and pasted the 3d model until they filled up that bench, which makes them clones ok

Yeah because it doesn't have an useless main char that is surrounded by a bunch of super cute girls and he happens to be dense enuff to not know they are in love with him.

Summary of the plot already foreshadowed mediocrity. I try to give a series a chance but this is just one where "no" saves me from losing time.

IMO NGNL is just like Mondaiji: Pervy competent MC living in a world where games matter. I like it.

I actually don't mind Mondaiji at all. I think its mainly cause of the moral standpoint, where Mondaiji there's no official cheating involved, NGNL is cheat to your heart's content.

Also, I do hate meaningless ecchi shows with useless protagonist, but the distaste for NGNL is different. Its lack of rules and logic and the extent of asspull is so high up there its getting ridiculous.

Compare to smth that is based on myth and super power, i can't see why this can be any less "logical". And mondaiji has cheat.

And i don't see why you say it lacks of rules while it has both world's rules and game's rules. Lets say abt the two games so far:

* Rock-paper-scissors (janken doesn't have logic, sorry): The 1st rule is "he will only use paper", if he use anything else, he will break this rule, but does not mean he will lose. The 2nd rule is janken's normal rule, so:
- If he wins in janken, but break the first rule, they draw
- If he wins in janken, using paper, he win
- If he lose/draw in janken, using other than paper, he lose
- If he draw in janken using paper, they draw.

His chance for a win is very low (1/9), but his chance for a draw is still 1/3, same as normal janken. This is sora's first plan, make steph think he only aims for a draw. If steph uses paper or scissors, she cannot lose, so she will use either of them, this is his 2nd plan (steph think this is his plan at first so she was going to use rock, but sora's calm face force her to go back to his plan). At last, using paper will give sora 2/3 chance for a draw, while using scissors will give 1/3 only and 2/3 chance for her to win. So this come to the result, just as planned.

By adding a disadvantage, deciding the wager and a bit mindfuck, he already make himself the winner.
* Chess match: This is not a chess match, so chess rules are meaningless. The only rule is "the pieces have their own wills", because Shiro follow the normal chess rules, she almost loses. The match is basically a turn-based visual novel game, where the affection of the pieces toward their controller is the most important.
