Malca Build

Recently rolled School Malca..and since I didn't find a build..tried to make one. Here it is.


What do you guys think about it? I am kinda new to this stuff. Btw is it possible to have negative stats? Say..-1 str?

No, the CosmiCalc shows them so but the game will "think" it's 0 STR.

@Malca: no idea. When i looked at her in the Calc her HP seemed ass. But I'm a dogshit player and builder, so I really don't know.

malca is rather meh... not game warrior material but she can be quite fun. if you want to build one, don't take it too seriously

try and keep stats over 0 if you're gonna use prop bit and ofc go for 40 tec 38 fly with fly being priority

That's some very low TGH you got there. Does she get built-in CV or such, because elsewise she will be stunned out of flight a lot :S

why 39 fly? 38 fly is enough and you can put that in one more tec.

as for your tgh

it's way too low for your hp and 1400 cost.

great capacity = bad for this

2 capa carts and enough slots to do weapon or hp tunes if you feel like it.

She wasn't using the rod in both pic btw, and i try not to use if possible.

compared to others and given her lack of passive opness it takes way more finesse and skill than others. considering this person calced almost the same build as me for 200 more cost, i don't think they'll be getting game warrior with malca.

You do enjoy using alpha tunes where there are extra expendable stat to chunk, or when +1 tunes are more efficient when you have the slots

malca can really be a pain for hoppers
I'd really really really suggest taking sniper sight
I'd suggest aswell a g.range or so
you can easily take a bunch of shots at people and they won't even notice after a while
her damage output is low but it adds up really fast

you aint gonna tripple weapon tune malca's am weapon, gloom rod still have all 3 slots left over, tech tunes can be switched to ranger tunes for hp, and you save overall 25 capa

If you are annoyed that tunes are done on a weapon am, stick a throw lio/maracas change the high tec alpha to beta, and move the tunes on the am to the new handheld for 5 extra cost only

WHY WOULD YOU TUNE THAT ON AN AIR

Useful for when you have more wlk than necessary (more than 1), and you either don't care for str or it also lands at 1. As long as you have the slots and wlk to spare, it's a good combo to use.

They're the exact same efficiency if you do not need str or can afford to tune away more.

The ONLY difference is which stat goes up faster. Your bot has more base tec than fly? You might want to just go with hboostbeta+tec so your fly will get to max faster.  Your bot has way more base fly than tec?  Use hboostbeta+htecbeta to get to your max tec faster.

EDIT:
In addition, for the cores that have an odd amount of fly, in which doing highboost beta will land you at either 37 or 39, the more cost efficient route would be to go for 39fly and tune htecbeta to reduce it to 38.

If you're at 37fly you'll do either:
Boost + tec
10cost +1 fly +1 tec. 5cost/stat

Highboostbet+hightecbeta
+10 cost +1 fly +2 tec. 3.33cost/stat

In this instance, as long as you have one more str to strike, you get more tec and you even out your fly.  This is a good random tip to use when evening stats on builds.  Or you could swap parts to get an even fly number, that'd work too.

Oh yea, why're you guys only going to level 6? I liked mine being at 10 :v

you have 30 capa.
get the most fly and tech you can with these limitations.

high boost beta x 4: +8 fly, +20 cost
high tech beta x 2: -2 fly, +4 tech, +10 cost
end result: 6 fly + 4 tec, 30 cost

high boost beta x 3: + 6 fly, + 15 cost
tech x 3: + 3 tec, + 15 cost
end result: 6 fly + 3 tec, 30 cost

This is basic math.
if you have SPARE WALK, you can tune MORE HIGH BOOST BETAS to counteract the -fly, and thus gain MORE TECH for the SAME COST.

I thought of doing that, but in the end malca don't have enough expendable str unless you just want to do 0 str
