My valentine's day was a bit ruined because my parents left my brother with the charge of cooking for everyone while they had their romantic dinner, and the third brother went on a valentine date too.

Funny as how i placed the table, did company to his girl with some daily talk about life and weather (really wierd weather, to be honest), and then he brought a small entry dish and 3 steaks.

For her and our sister and himself. Not for me.

I was kinda expecting this - he had this face of "i'm-not-gonna-cook-for-you-tonight". So, while everyone was watching Mulan 2 on the TV, i silently took my empty plate to the kitchen and ate a slice of the lunch's quiche leftovers instead. His girlfriend was in a good mood, and should i had done the righteous uproar, even if my parents would agree with me, i knew that my brother's ego, after what i did as i ruined his valentine dinner with her, would retaliate in some cold way in the future. And when i say cold, i say below 0º K.

Luckly the breakfast on saturday's morning was bacon, so it was all good. Boyscouts were getting ready for a huge meeting on the following week, so a lot of stuff was being oved. As the librarian of a soon-to-be-ready library, i had to move books from a buiding to the other - over 200 of them.

Worst was that passing clouds were raining... yeah, really unlucky.

Everything got better when i arrived at home for dinner: we had a surprise visit from one of my mother's childhood friend - and her daughter, whom was a close game-friend of mine. She had brought me, out of the blue, 2 Wii games, explaining that she was planning to sell her Wii in a near future.

One of them being Mario Party 8, i've set up the console on the living room, and played with her and my sister. My brothers are gamers too, but they didn't want to have anything to do with our dinner below (also, the lady was the college math teacher for one of my brothers). And so, we played a bit while my parents watched.

I didn't played like the expert i was - i just played casually, and ensured that she was a bit ahead of me. Though the plan backfired at me when 2 of the 3 random Bonus Stars were awarded to me, giving me the victory.

The game ended an hour after midnight, so they had to leave. But before i said farewell to her, i gave her a present , a sort of a consolation price - a small, cute leather bracelet with her name on it that i bought on a bazaar when i saw her name on it and would be a good gesture to give her later on.

She thanked me a lot for the gift as we said our farewells after i escorted her and her mother to their car.


TLDR - had quite a busy life during my CB break ^_^

Wow, that's not really nice of your brother.

Ofc it wasn't, saddly his temper is volatile. And yet he's an economy genius, and has his own logic thinking with reason.

Let's just say that he's a good brother as long as nothing bothers him too much.
