99 Kusogebreak problems. A moe might be one

Even though I said something about this in the CB thread, so that this may get more attention, and because I am an attention whore, I'm making a topic for this.

Okay so basically my client won't work. I hit the login button and the screen will stay at the login screen without ever transitioning to the Ch select screen. If anyone can help I'll <3 you forever.

As for your problems, have you made sure no malware/virus is on your laptop?

It would also help to probably post your laptop specs too.

I'm positive I don't

And I haven't had this problem up until the newest CB update

Specs

Does it say that it can't connect to the server when you hit Login or does it just freeze?

Does it update from the launcher normally?

Hmm.. I'm going to assume that it can connect to the server and it does update normally.. because you don't seem like the kind of person that bypasses the launcher. So, that would rule out a firewall issue.

Is your memory set to the setting that it used to have? (S, M, L or XL)

Hmm.. it probably isn't the issue.. logically thinking about it.. if it worked yesterday and then you reinstalled (instead of just deleting the temporary files, which is what you should do from now on.. once it starts working again) and now it won't work.. I'd guess that your installation was corrupt. Try reinstalling again, while you aren't doing anything else on the PC except that.

No messages or anything appear

Basically the login screen is perfectly normal. It still moves and everything, game still runs after I click on the login button. No freezes or messages, game still runs, but it won't move past the login screen.

Also I never changed the memory size so I don't think that's the prob but just in case I'll change it

delete option1 2 3 4 5 bla bla bla.ser and do it again

Requesting thread lock, problem has been solved. Apparently firewall blocked the program again when I re-installed it. I have no idea as to what happened the first time before I re-installed it, as firewall hasn't blocked the game before this. Thanks for everyone who tried helping me.
