Titancoil Bathelon shields?

I'm a bit curious what kind of bullets can go through the shields?

I don't think there are any. Maybe Blast Railguns and Vox Altus. Dracken's/Momiji Sen's main weapon might penetrate it to (it does not shield from meee and these mains have melee attributes).

melee based projectiles are still blocked. the reason melee isn't blocked is because it functions completely different from projectiles.

Oh I see I expected them to pierce. I've never seen a Balthy vs. Dracken/MomiS though.

Pierce Guns go through allies, not shields :v

The only bullet type attacks that will pierce is explosives or blast railguns or things shot directly inside the barrier if something runs up and facehugs you.

What about shield-piercing weapons? Aren't there weapons that bypass shields? For some reason, Lightning Guns come to mind.

baltheon functions differently

held shields block all attacks including melee, that hit their arc of effect.

bubbles block projectiles that spawn outside of their field, aside from the ones already listed.

I've once stuck my Thoarla AM3 right inside a shielded Baltheon and fired away (in fact, it was me and NFA Asagi both doing it at the same time), and we were able to hit him. So... Lightning Guns are capable of going through it when fired at pointblank. Not sure if it was a matter of us firing from underneath the shield or the fact that lightning gun's AoE is capable of penetrating the shield but normally doesn't reach the target due to the distance between outlayer of shield and the users themselves.

Either way, it was hilarious, two AM3 GeoFs ramming themselves into a Balt trying to penetrate it.
