My uni placed an add on their website saying they want to destroy old buildings and build cheap homes for students. They said it would be like €150 (exclusive light and gas) and that you'd get your keys asap. Would be a good offer, if it weren't for the neighborhood they mentioned: it's a notoriously bad place. (Shai, do you know something about the Schilderswijk? This is assuming you're dutch as well)

We had 3 cats in the house once. There's our own two cats, which are brothers from the same litter, and my brother's cat, which he can't keep at his current residence.

Now, the two brothers are really mean to my brother's cat, who is smaller than they are, so he spends most of his time outside. He's basically just a neighborhood stray at this point. Nobody had seen him for about a week when my parents left for their trip, which was on friday.
Yesterday, as I was doing the last walk of the dog, I see my brother's cat following me(he used to follow the dogs on walks a lot when he was still living at the house instead of who knows where.)
I try to lure him back inside with treats but he runs away instead. Probably because he saw the other cats.
I put some food out for him afterward but it was still there when I took the dog for the morning walk.

Loner cats are awesome. My friend used to have an awesome cat; a Maine Coon. They had it for two years and then they moved out into the country (a very rural area, surrounded by forest.) The cat just wandered off, one day.. and two years later, came back like it had never left. The (Cherokee National) forest here is full of life.. enough to keep a loner cat well fed, all year round.
