its quite true, but even so... using WoW as reference is meh.
Anyways, i know of Pokemon MMOs since i was one of their IRC mods ... Pokemon World Online. I did try other Pokemon MMOs....
Even that FPS Style MMO of Gold/Silver/Crystal was fun
but they still have a lot to work on imo.

the wow reference serves as a reason why subscriptions as business type would utterly fail (they do not talk about other business models like micro transactions, though)
